Anyone appreciate hair down there?

Does anyone actually appreciate the presence of, and appearance of pubic hair? After reviewing many of the message posts within this site and hearing from different people in public it seems like everyone is on a mission to end the presence of all bikini hair on earth forever. I find pubic hair to be physically appealing and am especially interested to hear some replies from others within the 20-30 age bracket of which I am a part. I have no issue with maintanence, but find the brazilian method a bit much. I need to know that I am not the only one left who sees value in keeping hair down there. I'm looking for as many posts as possible, please fill me in.

I actually agree with rainy's response, even though I ALSO agree, just as you have also on so many occasions yourself my dear, that its sooo nice to simply respect the fact that each is entitled to his/her own "unique" preference as well, which was my core point alllll along, so right back at ya...LOL!!!

There is STILL no right or wrong no matter how hard some of us may try, you just can't justify or condemn a preference.

Thanks (again) for the individualized attention...nice to know my own thoughts are that thought of by ya. ;D

Ok, chill, Para...just trying to tease you a bit regarding the re-emergence of this dreaded thread! It WILL come up again, just as the tired penis size debate always does, so clench your teeth and be prepared.

BTW, not sure why you've inferred that I'm arguing against or condemning the practice of shaving it all off. It's just not my particular preference.

And of course, I respect your opinions. Why wouldn't I?

Thanks for the link, but that wasn't why I didn't post it. I wanted to post the link to the exact page that the excerpt came from, but for some reason the site won't allow you to copy the link to that exact page.

I'm happy that you have a healthy vagina even though you shave. Perhaps the showering twice a day has prevented what the hair alone might have. I don't know, but I don't shave, and I have not had a vaginal infection since I was 20 and that was due to douching daily(talk about being overzealous!). The doctor never told me that it was bad to douche either or that it was causing my infections. I finally went to my General Practitioner and mentioned it to him and he cured me. Told me to stop douching. I spread the word around as fast as I could, but it was too late for my best friend. She had to have her cervix cauterized.

I still feel that "air" is important to a healthy vagina(as well as many other elements) and that pubic hair acts as a buffer to help keep air circulating freely around the vulva. It doesn't mean that you can't have a healthy vagina without hair, but it does mean that you can with it.

P.S. Be careful about brushing too much. It can wear away the gums...ever hear the expression "long in the tooth". ;-)

Anyone ever view you or people like us as weird because of those habits? Just curious, cause I've never been. I remember it coming up in the past on this board though...the natural scent discussion I believe, lol, can't remember.

I am glad that so many of you have participated in this thread. It seemed that the thread had sparked a fair deal of interest. I realize that there are really only a few possible answers to the questions that I posed "4 months ago", but I was hoping as a survey to gather as many opinions as possible (the more persons who participate, the better the success of a survey, a smaller margin of error). Now I am hearing alot of negativity about my thread, its "dreaded now"? Whatever! This thread has been good on y'all and now it receives little love, abandoned. If the thread is boring to you, why bother coming back to it? Many others are posting new threads all the time. I'm still hoping that more people out there will continue this topics long run. Surely there must be thousands of members out there. If it dies out, it dies out. My experiences still lead me to believe that its a topic which divides many (although many of you, based on the discussion seem to be accepting either way).

I have decided to redirect this thread into a poll so we may actually get numbers on this thread. We'll see.

I have no problem with your thread, flyguy, and my "dreaded" comment was directed more at Para's reaction to seeing it revived, not indicating my own reaction.

Whenever I see a comment that interests me, I respond to it...whether it's a day old or 3 mos. There is no "shelf life" for a post, IMO. Each new posting can potentially bring a new spin or twist to an old subject. Some great discussions and debates have begun from a subject like this.
