Anyone appreciate hair down there?

Does anyone actually appreciate the presence of, and appearance of pubic hair? After reviewing many of the message posts within this site and hearing from different people in public it seems like everyone is on a mission to end the presence of all bikini hair on earth forever. I find pubic hair to be physically appealing and am especially interested to hear some replies from others within the 20-30 age bracket of which I am a part. I have no issue with maintanence, but find the brazilian method a bit much. I need to know that I am not the only one left who sees value in keeping hair down there. I'm looking for as many posts as possible, please fill me in.

Being a city boy myself who later grew up on an old farm during his teens, I too started shaving due to cleanliness psychosis, LOL!

"If anyone WANTS to makes this a pro or anti issue, then that itself eliminates the people from the discussion."

Didn't you just state how you shave for the benefits of preventing fungus and because you feel much cleaner? ;-) The fact is that you did state some pros of shaving as others will state the cons. Of course, that doesn't translate to "I do/did this, so you should too." One can still state the pros(and cons) and still be pro-choice.

The boards are a great place for someone to come to see what the general consensus is on any particular topic. For example, before reading these boards, I never realized just how strongly some men feel about pubic hair. How for SOME it means less oral or no oral. If I were dating today, I'd be a more educated shopper. ;-) I would never have given it a second thought, because, to me, hair is the norm. I never had any issues with it with respect to any of the men I had sex with. Now, I know that it is possible that it is an issue for some men. Not to mention, if I was someone who never shaved, I could get a very good idea about the pros and cons according to people who have shaved.

I guess you could say I'm pro-fully-disclosed-choice. tee hee

My mention of pro or anti was strictly in response to what someone was asking about whether or not someone LIKES it...and in reference to the actual good and bad of doing it, LOL!

Someone asked if we were anti-shaving or pro-shaving, and I simply stated that for those who don't care what OTHERS choose to do, then people simply have no answer to that question.

Hope that clears up the confusion. Feel free to continue reading. ;)

"Do what I say, not what I do." lol "I don't shave, but it's your choice to do with your body as you wish to do, because to me it doesn't matter either way." "You can shave or not, and I'm perfectly OK with it either way."

True "freedom of choice." Others giving us the freedom to do to OUR bodies what we wish, and then in turn giving others the same freedom to choose for THEM what THEY like.

>>Like you said, nobody but our docs/spouses will see our groins anyway,<<

Well, it's OK for some...but others use the changerooms at the pool and gym which make for a much wider audience ;-)

Seriously, the thought of being so "exposed" in public changerooms makes me very uncomfortable. Esp. considering that I've NEVER seen another woman in a public changeroom who has no/minimal pubic hair. (An Aussie thing?) Even if I just shaved my labia, it would still be damn obvious from the front. The alternative - changing under a towel also makes me uncomfortable because I'm not modest by nature and it would just feel weird.

So, I keep my fur and continue being comfortable with my public nakedness.

Now when it comes to and the like, then yes yes, very good point. Still brings me back to the ol' issue though. I'm happy with who I am and the personal body decisions I make, yeah, somebody stop me, LOL!

There WILL be some who do like what I choose and some who don't and THEN there will actually be some who just simply could care less and have better things to think on, LOL!

There's just simply no cure for what other people view as normal or what other people's preferences are and there is 'obviously' no cure for what people choose to "set" their thoughts on either.

Just do what you like, live your life, be so thankful that you have a partner who appreciates you and the choices you make, and to heck with the rest. Think...what else ya gonna do anyway? ;D
