Asian penis size??

Yes this is a petty question but some girls and i were discussing if asians have a smaller penis. One of my friends dated a Japanese American and she said he was very, very tiny.
In addition I am a swimmer and see a lot of men in speedos well they don't have as big as "packages" but who knows? I am just curious to know if this was an urban legend or the truth.
Cheers!!!

The-penis.com site on male sexuality...I found it while looking through clitical.com for information for myself ;) This is something from their page on penis size:
<<
Orientals, 4 to 5.5 inches in length and 1.25 inches in diameter;
Caucasians, 5.5 to 6 inches in length and 1.5 inches in diameter;
Blacks, 6.25 to 8 inches in length and 2 inches in diameter.
Women were proportionate to men, with Orientals having smaller vaginas and blacks larger ones, relative to Caucasians. Variations were noted: in the French West Indies, the size of the penis and vagina varied with the amount of black genetic mixing: Arab men, who were often mixed with black, had larger penises than Europeans. Recent data show similar patterns. Measurements taken from living subjects as well as those at autopsy, show the size of testicles is twofold lower in Asian men than Europeans (9 grams versus 21 grams), a difference too large to be accounted for entirely in terms of body size.
(Adapted from "Race differences in sexual behavior: Testing an evolutionary hypothesis." Journal of Research in Personality 21(4): pp. 536-7.)>>>
As with anything on the internet I can't be sure how accurate it is. But it does site the research journal, so I'm guessing its at least somewhat reliable.

Hmmm. I think that you have to treat the statistics with a grain of salt. These stats are significantly different from the stats that I found just recently from the Kinsey report:
"Going strictly by the Kinsey data, which still remains one of the most exhaustive studies on penis size to date, the average white male has a penis measuring 6.2 inches long and 3.7 inches around, whereas the average black male has a penis 6.3 by 3.8 inches, for a difference of 0.1 inches--not what you'd call statistically significant. When it came to flaccid length, however, blacks fared a little better: 4.3 inches long, versus 4.0 inches for white males. So it may be, therefore, that while those of African heritage appear larger initially, under actual working conditions things tend to even out. You should consider this a tentative hypothesis rather than a scientific fact, as there were only 59 black respondents to the survey, versus 2,500 for whites."
Taken from http://www.sexualrecords.com/WSRphysiology.html
You can see by this that Kinsey says the average white penis is 6.2inches yet the Journal of Research (JR) says 6" - a difference of .2" Not much difference there, but when you compare stats for the average black penis, Kinsey says 6.3" versus JR which says 6.3 to 8" but doesn't give an average. It might have changed since I was at school but 6.3"-8" isn't an average; it's a range. So I don't know.
I think that the only thing that you can decipher from all these figures is that Asian penises are probably slightly smaller than European penises which are slightly smaller than African penises. How much the difference actually is, is anyone's guess.
It doesn't seem to much of a difference so I guess that because every individual man is different then you may not be able to notice much difference between races just by looking at one or two men. You'd need to compare dozens to start getting a trend. Basically quite a few white guys will have bigger penises than many black guys, and many Asian guys will have bigger penises than some white guys..... Confused yet? ;-)
I've heard the same, but cannot attest to the accuracy. I'm Filipino, and average length (6"), a tad bit above average girth (5.5").
If you're going to start a poll on Asian men, there is your first one ;-)
I don't want to make disparaging comments without offering data to back them up, but there isn't time right now to search for links...
However, I believe that in recent years Kinsey has been shown to have been a man with a mission, a point of view, and a belief system firmly in place in search of "scientific data" to prove his preconceptions. Therefore, much of his published facts & figures have fallen under suspicion.
Perhaps Dr. Ruth might offer some insight?
Fraid I know nothing about Asian penis size, BUT couldn't help but smile at your referencing to going swimming. I do, too - and, yes, when in the water the 'package' definitely looks smaller.
After all, EVERYTHING shrinks when it gets wet!

>>Not just Kinsey's penis size data; I believe that *much* of his data has been called into question.<<
That's the problem isn't it? We don't have reliable surveys or information. It sounds easy to do a survey but there isn't anything quite as tricky as a sex survey when you want to test a truly random sample of people. So many people would not want to partake in a survey about sex. And many that did would probably lie! Suddenly you end up with a biased sample.
Again, it's not just that the research was tricky but that indications are that Kinsey deliberately and with malice aforethought (as Sherlock Holmes might have once proclaimed) chose both his research subjects and the data used in his final "reports" so as to justify his pre-conceived notions on human sexuality.
From http://archive.datalounge.com/datalounge/news/record.html?record=2275 :
"James H. Jones, who has spent 25 years researching Alfred Kinsey for a biography to be published in October, says Kinsey's ground-breaking research efforts may have been skewed by his own same-sex tendencies and a separate fascination with masochism."
"Jones writes that beneath the guise of a disinterested scientist was a "covert crusader" who sought to free America from its sexual straight jacket and justify not only his same-sex attractions but his interest in the more fetishistic side of sexual behavior."
>>Again, it's not just that the research was tricky but that indications are that Kinsey deliberately and with malice aforethough...<<
Oh yes. I have heard that. I'm not sure if the finer details of that debate really matter. We now know that the Kinsey data is probably flawed and biased. What do we do about it though? Toss out the entire study? If so, what else do we have to go by? And how much bias was introduced? And how important is it all anyway?! I think that even anecdotal evidence supports the theory that european men have an average penis size in the region of 6". What more do we need to know? You certainly can't tell me that all women have the same sized vagina! So when it comes down to it - the discussions here on the board specifically - some penises regardless of size are going to fit into some vaginas better than others. And 'better' is subjective anyway, it depends on what the individual wants and feels!
