Bad boys?..whats the attraction?

Is it true that many women want a really nice guy, but only after they have had their brains screwed out by all the bad boys they can handle? What is the attraction of a male slut, who treats a woman so poorly?

I'm glad to know we can agree on something. I appreciate your clarification as to where you really stand on the issue. I hope I haven't offended you; I certainly didn't intend to if I did.

Sweetie, I'm not "lonely".

I'm not "evil" either.

Perhaps what you object to is the fact that I am not "naive".

BTW...I was thinking about what you said...how you were attracted to this "bad boy" type (3 TIMES did you say?) because you were "naive". That is hilarious. You were attracted because he made you hot. Your naiveté kept you from knowing any better, but it isn't what attracted you. And then of course, there is the real question - what compelled you to repeat the mistake three more times?

Feel free to continue to be "flabbergasted". We aren't each others type, so there is no love lost...

I see your popularity keeps going up and up, lol.

<
adj.

Suitable for or appealing to the tastes of sophisticates: a sophisticated drama.

Sophisticate \So*phis"ti*cate\, Sophisticated\So*phis"ti*ca`ted\, a. Adulterated; not pure; not genuine.>>>

-The word sophisticate is not the same as the word sophisticated, although the root is the same. This is much like feminine does not corespond to feminist, or masculine does not correspent to macho jerk. See? So that is irrelevent. Also irrelevent is the pronunciation key. I don't know how far into the dictionary you had to look to find a definition to get you off the hook. The The Oxford Dictionary gives as the 1st definition for sophisticated: "a (of a person) worldly, cultured, and refined, descriminating in taste and judgement. b showing awareness of the complexities of the subject; knowledgeable, experienced." It never gives any sort of definition similar to the one you quoted.

<> - I've seen how you act of this board.

<> - it is a luxury of thinking people. There is nothing that says that someone shouldn't change their views when the discover something more truthfull or reasonable based on knew knowledge and experiences.

You should stop trying to figure out my life story. 1) its not working out very well for you. 2) It is completely irrelevent. How does that relate to what we are talking about?

>>"So now you're calling me fat?"...This was all based on the fact that I assumed you were a woman. You should ponder that - did you ever doubt that I was a man?

-I did ponder it. The first thing I came up was that you are very organized to have your little insults categorized, one to belittle and dominate women, one to try to emasculate men. Their general too, so you don't even have to think up something on your own when someone calls you on your macho BS.

<>

-Well, now we know your a bully for sure, but you never picked on anyone like me, I guarantee it.

<> Lol, you must watch too many teen movies. Just because someone doesn't relly on bullying and indimidation to get through life and actually thinks about stuff doesn't make them a nerd. Similarly, your actions definately don't make you a man. Some guys like to think that masculinity comes from dominating others but they just say that so it seems like they have something other guys don't. Bullies don't have a monopoly on masculinity.

<> You came to this board and posted degrading comments. What did you expect?

<> I have as much right to be here as you. However, I don't feel the need to include the words "male" and "ego" in my handle, and I don't need to insult women or try to out macho anyone who disagrees with me. I'd say it is you who's having problems with masculinity.

Woohoo! ;) Bring on the dental dams! lol.

When someone rags on you for saying "ain't" just turn up your nose and say "Proper grammar is the slang of the upper class. I'll use whatever negative verb/adverb conjunction that I choose." I have never tried it, but It could be funny, depending on who you say it to.

You're joking now right? You're just goofin around, pulling our legs, and trying to get a rise right? Otherwise this is some sort of scorched earth policy. If you're going to go down, you might as well go down in flames I guess. It'll be the only time you ever see any going down at all if you let this crap show when you're trying to get some action. Mayday mayday! lol.

SMH at you! You certainly have a penchant for not paying attention. I never addressed the issue of what attracted me to ANY man. As for the 3, and only 3, experiences I had, the attraction wasn't the same for each one. The first one was scathingly witty (I was enamoured of his reparte'), the second was a Brazilian foreign exchange student (chivalry is immensely attractive), and the third was the Rhodes scholar son of a Jamaican parliamentarian (a man who reads the classics aloud to me is exquisitely attractive). While the sexuality came into play in an appropriate timeframe, none of these men fall into the accepted "bad boy" stereotype, which helps to illustrate the danger of collective generalizations. If any one of them had "fit the description" I likely would not have had the experience. I would've been too intimidated. So, again I say for the record, "bad boys" come in all shapes, sizes, colors, races, creeds and religious beliefs. Can you hear me now?

Au contraire mon ami! I called that one as you said it. I'm well aware that all types of people are computer savvy, even anally-retentive, egocentric, presumptuous misogynists.

>>What you said was:

I chose my first (out of 3 I might add) bad boys simply because I was REBELLIOUS and thought that once he met my friends and family he would reform! LOL@me It would've been cool if Mom could've warned me about bad boys, but that was an experience she never had. I certainly learned my lesson well on my own.

Which leaves to interpetation what sort of men these were. There was nothing to "hear", so since there had been a sterotype established (and repeated) in the thread of "tattoos, motorcycles" and etc., it would have made sense to state that this didn't apply to these men if it in fact did not.

In regards to the rest of this post, I have no idea what you are trying to say. MY point was that "naive" has nothing to do with "attraction", so since you have now detailed what attracted you, I think my point has been made.

I wasn't referring to "phatgenes" name. I was addressing yet another of your generalizations regarding generously proprrtioned derrieres and sexual preferences.
