I'm leaving for Arizona for vacation tomorrow (tonight! in 6 and a half hours!) and to get ready for it I went for a brizilian on Tuesday. I'd been having trouble getting in at the place where I want to go because the lady who does them is only there on tuesday evenings

Once you get a brazilian- you will never go back! I usually get it sugared instead of waxed b/cmy skin is sensitive, and it hurts like

I am considering getting a brazilian for our upcoming vacation. However, I also have kinda sensitive skin and have only had my eye brows waxed (no funny reaction there). Should I go once before vacation? I don't really want to because I would like to surprise my DH.
Also, about how long do you stay smooth? That is my biggest frustration with shaving... it is great for a few days but then it isn't great at all.

Thanks for the advice!

Welcome to the board, gal_bamm.

I've not had either done, but my understanding is they will both produce the same results. Sugar is recommended often for people with more sensitive skin because it's less likely to cause irritation.

Welcome to the board, holland97.

I've not had a waxing done, but from what I've read here, those members that have had both waxing and shaving report that the waxing lasts a lot longer (up to a month), and when the hairs do grow back, they are much softer than with shaving.

If you decide to get one done, let us know how it goes.
