Best kind of vibe to get?

Hey Everyone,

So, I was wondering, in your opinion what is the best kind of vibe to get? I know this is totally pervy to ask, but is there something that can somehow "stick" to a non-porous surface with a suction cup or anything that you could "ride"? That seems so much easier to me then having to position everything just right.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions about places to purchase these items? I don't really have any adult stores in my neighborhood.

:-)

I doubt you'll find a general consensus of a single *best* vibe, it all kind of depends on what you want to use it for. Clitoral stimulation? G-spot stimulation (my DW is madly in love with her G-spot vibe)? Is it for use solo, or during partner play?

For what you describe with regards to a vibe that you can ride, there's a vibe called the cone that sounds like just what you're looking for. It doesn't have suction cups, but the base is heavy so it doesn't move around, and it can also be held against a vertical surface like a wall while you back up on it. You can find a review of it here:

As for good places to purchase toys online, here are a few of my favorites. These are all very welcoming and female friendly sites. I'd stay away from Adam & Eve, as you'll end up on their mailing list and will forever be getting junk mail from them that you wouldn't necessarily want the neighbors to see.

I do have a suction cup based realistic dildo, so I know they do make such a thing. DH bought mine for me at a local store, but I'm sure you can get them on line. (If you get one of those, make sure it has balls.) Mine doesn't vibrate, but I'm sure they make some that do. Also, it's very heavy. Although it would stick to a non-porous wall, it's very difficult to get at the correct angle and to back up on alone. It works much better being attached to something that allows it to stand straight up in the air. Even something like a DVD case or book will work then.

As Steve said, the cone is a newer, popular item. While it doesn't look like a traditional vibe or dildo, the reviews on it have been great.

I'm thinking something more in line for "self use". My SO is not interested in using toys in the bedroom and I can't say we really need them.

I have a waterproof vibe (realistic) that came with a suction cup although I never use it. My favorite though is definitely a 'rabbit' vibe. If I could only have one that is the one I would keep. Personally I like Adam and Eve .. nothing ever comes into my mailbox that can be identified so I don't mind the catalogs. You can opt out of getting those too. IMO anyway.

There are lots of dildos that come with suction cup bases and lots of vibrators, too! The Cone, like Steve suggested, is a great product - I love mine! I sometimes get a dildo an put it up against it while I'm soloing. It's so fun! I would recommend getting a vibrator or dildo that is silicone or elastomer. Those are the easiest to clean and are the most hygienic.
