im 21 and am dating a man a bit older than me, ive had 2 previous partneres, the problem is this guy is huge, about 9" and really thick, im afraid i cannot handle him, any suggestions

I agree with Tish......your vagina can handle anything, if you're properly aroused, and lubricated. Make sure he takes LOTS of time for foreplay, and at least for the first few times, till you get over being nervous, have some lubricant handy. Being scared and nervous is what makes it tight and dry, and painful.
As Tish said, that same vagina can stretch big enough for a full term baby to pass thru it, and he's not THAT big!
>> Don't forget a 7, 8, 9 pound baby comes out the same opening a penis goes in. <<
Of course, some people would point out that that 7, 8, 9 pound baby hurts like hell on the way out. :)

You don't mention anything about your physical size, whether you are very petite or not.
If your pelvis is very narrow, small and tight to begin with, you may NOT be able to handle his size....comfortably. It depends on how much flexibility your vagina has and that is genetic.
Just as we all can't deliver a 9-10 lb. baby with a larger head and shoulders naturally, we all can't accomodate every enormous penis without pain and effort. Some of us simply don't have the vaginal elasticity needed to be able to allow for full penetration with a bigger than average erection.
Being highly aroused and well lubricated will certainly help, as the other's mentioned, and breathing deeply to make sure that you're fully relaxed. But the only way to know is to try. Hopefully, he'll realize that he needs to be more careful and conscious because of his size.

Of course, I can't speak for other women, but personally, during labor, I didn't feel any pain in my vagina other than some extreme stretching or burning sensation(right around the opening(which wasn't all that bad compared to labor pains). The most pain I felt was during dilation of the cervix, and well before the baby's entry into the vaginal canal. In fact, once I was able to push, all internal pain subsided. So, yes, it hurt, but not due to the stretching of the vagina.
