Does anyone know if there is any information as to why women(generally) take longer to orgasm? I got to wondering if it is possibly to weed about less desirable sperm.

personally, i don't think it takes longer if you get the right stimulation.

but ultimately, female orgasm isn't required for conception. also, i think the clit is far from the vagina because it is so sensitive and would be very painful to have all those nerve endings traumatized during delivery if they were in the vagina.

i don't know how accurate this is but i have read somewhere that the female orgasm is to help propel the sperm toward the egg. so the argument would be that it takes longer so it can occur after the man comes.

another reason might be that if the woman came faster than the man, then she would lose interest in intercourse and he might not get to make his deposit, hence it would hinder conception.

This IS true. They actually showed footage on the Discovery Channel during an orgasm, and the cervix dips down into the semen during an orgasm.

Hmmm sounds plausible. I doubted that there was any info out there, just hoping I guess LOL.
