Birth Control Question- Neep Help~

My SO does not like to use condoms as he feels it takes away from the sensation of having sex. I (for personal reasons) do not use any type of hormonal birth control. Is there another type of birth control that would increase the sensation for him, and make sex just as pleasurable as not using a condom? Perhaps a type of condom thats not so restricting for him? Obviously our number one concern is not getting pregnant- I don't want to use a method thats only 80% effective! Thanks for your help

Sounds like a female condom might work for your situation. It is used by the woman, is made of polyurithane, is thinner and bigger, allowing for more sensation. You should use it with a water based lubricant. It is highly effective when used correctly. I am a sexuality educator so let me know if you have any questions about it.

I always wanted to try the female condom, just for fun. I'm not sure why, but it seems like a totaly fun thing in a just foolin' around sort of way. I do imagine it would look weird though.

Some people don't like it because it can look a little weird with a ring hanging outside of her body but some people love it because the ring can stimulate the clitoris during IC.

Do you think it would work for anal sex? It just occured to me that it has great potential for a relaxed mess free friction free sort of experience. Just a thought.

That is what a lot of people use it for also, both hetero and homo, just remove the top ring and use a lot of lubrication (as always, its a good way to protect yourself during anal.

Thank you for the responses! I actually looked at my local drugstore for them (where the men's condoms are kept) and I didn't see any there specified for females. Do I need to get them from my doctor?

Thanks for your help

Nope you don't have to go to a doctor but they are a little harder to find than male condoms. You should be able to find them at a drugstore, The most common brand is called "Reality"...

Nope, wouldn't work for anal. There's a ring around the top that encloses the cervix and holds it in place. There's nothing to fit that ring around in the colon.
