Welcome out of lurkdom, mpknight1120 ... it's great to have you here!

If you were injured, I think you would feel a good bit of pain. Sometimes periods can get off kilter, so that's a possibility. Since bleeding isn't normal during or after intercourse, seeing your gyno is a great idea. Hopefully it's nothing, but the doctor will be able to tell you for sure.

Let us know how things go.

This situation snuck up on us. About three years ago DW's periods had gotten more erratic.
Then it got to where when we though it was done or in the middle of the ok time we would have sex and she would spot or bleed. We were doing nothing wild or out of the ordinary. DW got checked out and was told her uterus was not sluffing all the way. She contemplated several things because there was still a thought of having another kid so she waited and tried other methods of controlling the symptoms. It slowly got worse and another check was that her uterus still building up and now having some necretizing. She and I agreed that we had one son so if that was it then that was it. We arranged to get her uterus cauterized to minimise the issue. In the prep for that a biopsy showed more problems and the OB/GYN could not perform the proceedure. The specialist did some more tests and is showed pre-cancerous cells and the proceedure advanced to a full hysterectomy. After it was all over with it was confirmed that she had the beginnings of cancer.
Definately have it checked into and stay on top of it. In our case we caught it early and its taken care of. Now we just have to deal with the surgical menopause.

Welcome to the board, iamhappyinri.

It could be that you're having the same problem you did previously with the bleeding, but if I were you, I would go ahead and have it checked out.
