My partner and i have been together 14 months now and we have discussed if she has ever faked it and she tells me that she never has and i have no reason to disbelieve her. We love each other so much and get the most pleasure from giving that there is no reason to fake it on either part.
I think that if she did fake it her responses would not be as intense so that would give the game away.

Well, she may not have faked it with you but if there were others before you, then she still may have.

Many women feel some pressure in the beginning, when they may not be as responsive or know what they need from a partner to be orgasmic, to "finish" for their guy's sake. With time, and with more experience, then they begin to make adjustments and the need to fake goes away.

And the funny thing is, that many women WILL overact a fake orgasm, thinking it will be more convincing to the man. In reality, while some women may be screamers and thrashers, most of us aren't and will typically respond the same every time.

But if your partner says she has never faked, that's great. Unfortunately, many do out of pressure and ignorance and it's only hurting themselves in the long run.

I think the confusion here is because people don't understand which muscles are involved here. The muscles that contract involuntarily during orgasm and voluntarily during Kegels are the PC muscles. These are a broad band of muscles across the whole floor of the pubic area. Men have them, too ( and can exercise them to stop ejaculation and have multiple orgasms).

Yes, Kat , in theory a woman could voluntarily contract and thus fool a man by faking it. It seems unlikely, however, that a woman that in tune with her body would have any need to.

True, but just because a woman knows her own body well, doesn't mean that her partner does. And people do all kinds of things that we may not understand, for all kinds of reasons.

I'm not sure why the OP is asking this question - or perhaps it's the wrong question.

Maybe the question should be:

Can a guy tell when she is really orgasming?

Sure any woman can "scream and thrash" ( as Kat puts it) and this is relatively easy to fake. But before a man can truely know that she is really orgasming, he has to be pretty in tune with the woman. If he has reached this point, it would only be because she isn't faking it and because she has no need to.

At any rate, any woman who consistently fakes is only hurting herself and making it much less likely that she will ever have a real orgasm.
