Circumcision vs. Non-Circumcision

okay -- I'm confused... someone please explain....
When a guy is hard, is there any difference in the appearance of his penis if he is uncircumcised or circumcised? I realize the difference when he's not hard. But just never considered if there was a difference otherwise. Help?
Also, for the most part, are most men circumcised? (the odd conversation you have with people!)
thanks!

I'm sorry, I'm completely at a loss right now... one says it makes a difference, another says it doesn't... My problem is, I can't believe that I'm THAT unobservant!!!
My son, who is uncircumcised, has such a small foreskin that much of his head is visible even when flaccid. Even the baby nurse questioned whether he was done or not. So, if a nurse has to ask - don't feel bad!
For others, it naturally retracts and leaves the head bare as the penis becomes erect.
It varies a lot.
How many are circumsized? At the moment, the majority of men in the USA are circumsized. In recent years there has been a trend to NOT circumsize babies because it's widely recognised that there is little, if any, medical benefit from circumcision and that the baby suffers severe pain from the process. You'll start to see more and more guys under the age of 20 that are uncircumsized.
I believe (don't quote me though) that in Europe there are considerably fewer circumsized men. It was very popular in the USA, England and Australia for many years.
Thanks!! :-)
