Here's an interesting article that addresses clothing for those that are maturing.

So, tell us, do you dress your age?

Have you found as you've aged that your neckline and sleeves have become more important when selecting clothing?

What changes did you make to the style of clothing you wore as a young woman (under 40)?

What changes have you made to the style of clothing you wore as you matured (over 40)?

If you're over 60, have you noticed even more differences in what you select?

So, tell us, do you dress your age? I think I do, but I'm not sure if there's a particular style that is intended for "my age", LOL.

Have you found as you've aged that your neckline and sleeves have become more important when selecting clothing? Yep! Especially over the past year, I've noticed my body has gone through a lot of changes. In addition to age being a factor there, I think my repeated surgeries have contributed a great deal to this.

What changes did you make to the style of clothing you wore as a young woman (under 40)? I think I've always dressed appropriately for the occasion. When I worked in an office, I wore heels and clothes appropriate for office work; when I was a day care mom, I wore jeans or shorts and a t-shirt with tennis shoes. When I'm out on the town as an adult, I dress to suit where I'll be going or who I'll be with. Father's Day dinner requires a different style than happy hour with hubby.

What changes have you made to the style of clothing you wore as you matured (over 40)? It takes more effort to keep my boobs in the right zip code now a days, so I do tend to not wear as many low cut V's as I used to. I've always liked my arms covered, but usually with just a short sleeve. A lot of that has to do with by breast size. Usually tanks and sleeveless tops have gapping armholes when I get the sizes I need to cover my boobs, LOL. I do have several that I've taken up, so sometimes I wear them ... and when shopping for nicer ones, I definitely look for bust darts now, which I didn't do when I was younger.

Cherron - ;) What can I say, even if no guy is looking, I like to look down at my own cleavage and admire my boobs. Lol

Me too! It's only a problem when sometimes I sneeze down on them.

I think it matters greatly how big the so-called gazongas in question are. Mine are very small, almost flat, so it doesn't really matter how far the cleavage goes -- just not that enticing no matter how you slice it. Not one of my best features and probably not a particularly big source of arousal for guys. A close friend of mine has beautiful very full breasts and just by their nature it is distracting and possibly unattractive to have the cleavage go down too far. I haven't changed my clothes a bit and in fact I'm thinner than I was as a young woman, but if you have really large ones I think it looks pretty inappropriate to get too carried away with youngish clothes.

So, tell us, do you dress your age? I mostly wear jeans and t-shirts these days since I'm not working. It's what I feel most comfortable in. So I have no clue if women in their late 40s are "supposed" to wear jeans and t-shirts and neither do I really care. I wear what I want to wear.

Have you found as you've aged that your neckline and sleeves have become more important when selecting clothing? No. I've never been one to wear sleeveless shirts, so that hasn't changed. My neckline is going lower, but that is Master's influenece, because He likes me to dress that way.

What changes did you make to the style of clothing you wore as a young woman (under 40)? Just that my necklines are going lower and I'm showing more cleavage. Other than that, I dress the same as I did in my 20s.

What changes have you made to the style of clothing you wore as you matured (over 40)? Same thing: showing more cleavage.

I think you favorite outfits work in every age category, Tish. It's more the style of jeans and/or tanks that would make a difference.

So tell us, do you plan to wear muffin tops when you're over 60, LOL?

I wear low rise jeans, my tanks are the typical work-out tanks.

So, tell us, do you dress your age? I may dress a tad younger - I'm 46 and I may dress like a woman who is 40.
