Completely shaved... (for other females)

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask, but.... My husband loves it when I am "completely bald" (the sex feels better and he's more likely to "go down on me"), but it is so difficult for me to do. Also, when I do it I end up all itchy (not sure why the armpits and legs aren't like that. lol) Anyways, he keeps telling me the more I shave the easier and better it will be, but it's not. Any help? Can I go somewhere to get it waxed? :) What's the best solution for those of you that shave completely? Is there a cream or lotion I can use? It's frustrating for me because my hair grows quickly and if I don't shave every single day it gets "pokey" and it's not easy because that makes it uncomfortable for him (I guess he can feel the little hairs poking him. lol) If I wait 5-7 days the hair grows back enough so that it's not "pokey", but then he wants me to shave it all off again and then it's all itchy again. It seems like it's a never ending circle. lol Anyways, I am just hoping for some ideas or opinions. Thanks!

Of course you can go somewhere and get it waxed. I have never been waxed so I don't know what it's like, I'm sure it's not pleasant...LOL
I do shave sometimes and other times I'll have hubby use his beard and mustache trimmer on me. Have you asked your hubby to shave you? I love being shaved but it does grow back fast. If you don't like shaving your best bet would be to get waxed cause I know it stays smooth for alot longer than shaving, but I know it has to be so long to get it waxed...I forget how long.
Good Luck!

it needs to be at least a quarter of a inch to get a good brazilian. depending on how fast your hair grows you would probably need to have it redone every month. costs about $50 each time at most places. a lot of salons do them if you live in or near the city. just start calling.

Go for the brazilian. The hairs need to be at least 1/4 inch. Call around and see who does them. Up here it cost me $75 when I had it done. Now I just shave every other day. I use cream rinse and use a good sharp razor.

I'm thinking of letting it grow so I can get another waxing. It did feel so much smoother, and it lasts alot longer....

Welcome to the board amanda7707. I don't shave or get waxed, but from what I have heard, being waxed lasts a lot longer than shaving. Also, members have reported that the more you get it done, the less stubbly the hair is when it does grow in (after waxing).

I agree with the prior pp go for a Brazilian, the first will take the longest but it gets easier and hurts less the more you go, it will be approx once a month you go but the hairs will start to grow less and thinner over time.

Another thing you could try is not shaving everything but all around the lips and just above.

I'm not sure how to reply to everyone at once, but THANK YOU!! I'm going to check around tomorrow to see if there is a place where I live that I can get a brazilion wax. Again, thank you. It's nice to have everyone respond so quickly. :)

I have done it all. I went bald for 6 years and the brazilians are the best...My hubby prefers my vaginal area the way it was the first time he got access.....Very well trimed and THINNED.you need to get a barbers "trimming scissors" for the best results. My hubby shaves the edges on at least a weekly basis and thins my vaginal hair at the same time. By constant thinning I now have a vaginal area and especially my "Mons Venus" of a young teen ager {12-15} My hubby loves it and so too do a couple of girl friends.
