Concerned about massage I received..

I don`t know if this is the right board since I don`t know my way around here too well.

have been working out all my life and recently my back has been bothering me. I read about deep tissue massage and thought this might be good. Since I really never had a "real" massage I did not know what to expect. I went to this healing arts place and met a very nice woman who was to do my massage.
It felt like heavan and she kneaded and worked all the knots out of my back for over 45 minutes, she then told me to roll over and she did my thighs, since I only had a towel on I was a little uncomfortable but it felt good. I had a warm washcloth over my eyes and she stated she would finish me the last 5 minutes with a electric massager. As she worked her way up my legs I felt kind of odd but did not say anything, then she slowly took the massager to my inner thighs and ended up massaging my private parts. I have never had a massage before and did not know what to do, it only took about 20 seconds before I had a strong orgasm. I kind of looked and and she smiled and said that ill be all for today.
As I walked out to the desk to pay I felt a little humiliated wondering if it was just me that this has happened to.
Now I want another massge but am a little concerned about not being able to control my body again.
Is this a normal procedure during a massage?

Whether you should feel offended depends on if you were offended.

I guess it's normal in a massage parlor, but not during a legitimate massage. Providing a client with an orgasm isn't the therapist's responsibility. That would go under another title and it's certainly not "massage therapist."

I've had professional massages before, including deep tissue, and no masseuse has ever pulled out a vibrator to use. EVER. A legitimate massage therapist carefully avoids the genitals and respects the clients personal privacy as much as is humanly possible.

I think you need to find another, more reputable place for your next massage....unless you enjoyed yourself enough to go back. Just be aware that paying someone for sexual pleasure is illegal and you could be called in and questioned if this place is ever busted.

"The Magic Wand".... that does NOT sound professional.
I would definately report this business.

I agree with the others. This was not a reputable place. They are working under the guise of it, but they aren't. I'm so sorry they humiliated you. Since you went there expecting a real massage I would report them. You are probably not the first person who has left there feeling that way. I know admitting to someone that you went through this will be hard, but as far as I'm concerned you were violated and you should let the authorities know this business is doing this. Though I can perfectly understand if you don't feel up to that.

I can tell you with complete certainty that IF this was a licenced and trained professional massage therapist that it was completely unprofessional behaviour and completely inappropriate. Licenced massage therapists pride themselves on keeping the business professional and do NOT provide this sort of "massage". They are very careful about approaching "sensitive" areas and would never touch your genitals or breasts and I find it extremely unlikely that they would use ANY form of vibrating device during a genuine massage. They could loose their licence for this sort of thing and you would have grounds for a serious complaint and formal action much the same as you would have grounds for reporting inappropriate behaviour from a Doctor or any other health professional.

However, having said that, it's entirely up to you whether you take it further or not. A good massage is a great thing and I know that there's been the odd time that an orgasm would be a nice way to finish it! LOL! If you choose to go back you can specify that you'd like the massage only, thank you. I'm sure that they will be all too aware that some people are not interested in their "extra" services and that they are delving into sensitive legal territory.

That is NOT normal for a deep tissue massage.

Echoing the comments of many others on this thread, I've had many deep tissue massages and my masseuse is very aware of my privacy. He makes sure that my breasts and hips are are covered with towels at all times. Wearing knickers during the massage is standard and he would NEVER touch my genitals or breasts. He even warns me in advance if he has to go remotely near any breast tissue.

I have spoken to him about this kind of stuff and he says that he does get old ex-hippies who remove all their underwear - it makes him a little uncomfortable but he deals with it. He's also had clients hit on him, and when that happens, he refers them to another masseuse.

I will admit that his massages are so great that I've had on-table fantasies about it going further, but he's too professional (and I'm too married) for that to happen.

I want to again echo what everyone else has said. I have had tons of massages and never ever has anyone pulled out a vibrator or given me an orgasm. In fact, once I felt very uncomfortable when a male massage student massaged my butt for a really long time. No one had ever done that and I had been told that they would ask or say something before doing anything that might make the client feel uncomfortable. Well, this did and he didn't. I didn't go back to him. I didn't report it tho because I wasn't sure if it was "supposed" to happen and I felt embarrassed, like you do.

My thoughts are that she knew EXACTLY what she was doing. No one brings out a vibrator and massages your inner thighs and privates without expecting something to happen. One thought going from aisha's comment - I hope you did have your underwear on when she did this. If not, you might want to consider getting tested for STDs and you might want to anyway. Although the viruses and so forth that cause STDs don't last too long outside the body, you don't know how often or how well she cleans her "equipment".

Whether or not you should feel offended depends on you. For me, unless that was what I was expecting, I would be offended but only you can decide that.
