Did we use the condem right?

So I'm 22 and I just lost my virginity! : ) I was completely ready and just went for it!
: P So of course my guy used a condom but I was wondering if it was used completely right. He has experience but of course, being new to this, I was a little concerned. B/c of the whole me being a virgin thing, it hurt at first so he had to keep stopping, and pulling out, he sat down for a bit, had a blanket on top of him, which I didn't think would mess up the condom b/c I know that usually there IS a blanket on the bed! Would that, a blanket or pillow over his waist mess up the condom? Also, I noticed at times the condom, was maybe a little less then a quarter from the base of his penis, it NEVER came off though. I also noticed that when he moved in and out of me at times, the condom had kind of rolled up, almost like when I moved up then down on him, I was kind of rolling the excess condom 'skin' up over the ring, again it NEVER came of. We just rolled the ring back up closer to his base. Also, he lost his erection at times inside me and then got it back, it was a new experience for both of us, he had never been with a virgin and I was a virgin. Basically why I'm asking these questions is that I don't want to get pregnant!! Would any of what I said cause a concern for pregnancy? Could any of what I described have allowed semen to get inside me? Especially him losing his erection inside me at times. Do I need to take the morning after pill or something? I'm not too worried but I just want to be completely in the know about this whole new experience. Thank you! : )

It doesn't sound like there should be a problem to me ... you would have noticed if the condom was disturbed to a point where the semen could have leaked out. (The blanket has no effect on it.)

So, what did you think of the experience besides that?

I think you are fine. If a condom rolls up in the middle of having sex, then you just need to roll it back down. It's also normal for a guy to alternate between periods of being soft and being hard while having sex. There is some risk of the condom falling off during periods when he is soft in which case he needs to withdraw immediately and then put on a new condom when he is hard again. Since that didn't happen, you don't really need to worry though. The important thing is just to carefully read all the instructions that come with the package of condoms and to follow everything they say.

Thank you so much for answering cl-misty_mae!! Well, since the condom was in fact used correctly, from the responses I got (thank you again!), : P everything went pretty good!!
: P It's funny, I don't feel any different really, like physically and emotional, I feel just as I did the hour before I 'did it!' Maybe b/c I'm older I didn't have those intense feelings that I hear so many talk about after they've lost their virginity to their guy. I feel just, Cool : P I don't really know how to explain it, I guess I'm fully a women now?! : P ; P I'll tell you one thing though, I DO look forward to getting more, um, practice with him!! : P ; )

So, even when the penis sometimes goes soft, can sperm 'drip' down towards the base and seep out of the condom? I ask that b/c I was wondering, as he got hard again and was inside me, could 'dripped down' sperm enter me? Does it even work that way?! : P Like I said, it NEVER came off but I'm new to this so I want to be sure. : ) I'm usually very knowledgeable about this sort of thing, sex, but it's not until you ACTUALLY do something that you can become fully knowledgeable. : ) Thank you all so much!! ; )

It's unlikely that the semen came out of the top of the condom.

Ok, see I'm wondering now if the possibly friction from him trying to 'get in' at first and having to stop a couple times b/c at first it hurt, might have made tiny holes at the tip!! I mean I would THINK that those things (condoms) are MEANT to withstand that kind of friction!! Also, I've heard that if he orgasmed, he's supposed to change the condom, of course, I knew this, however, I know that since it was my first time, we stopped, back and fourth b/c we both kind of tired out! : P Then after like an hour, we stopped b/c we were exhausted!! : P The thing is, I don't think that he orgasmed during that time we we're in the act. I mean what if he did and I didn't know?! As in what if he had and then went back inside me?!!! I think I would've known if he ejaculated right? Do you ALWAYS have to ejaculate during sex? I mean are we the first couple to tire out before any of us reaches orgasm? Please help me out here!! : ) Thank you!! : ) Also, I did feel some wetness on the condom and when I was on top of him, I'm pretty sure that it was from me, I even asked him and he reasurred me that it was in fact from me. Thats normal though right? I mean, you ARE actually wet down there and CAN feel it right? So many questions.... ; )

Have you ever masturbated, or just had foreplay with your partner?

Yes -- you will get wet as you become aroused.

No -- he doesn't have to ejaculate during sex.

Yes -- you will probably know if he does, even wearing a condom. Most often, a guy needs to rest after ejaculating, and he will loose his erection. The semen will seem like a lot of liquid.

No -- you're not the first couple to tire out prior to reaching orgasm.

There's a great website, www.the-clitoris.com, that you might want to check out. It will give you a lot of information about your body and what happens during the sexual process.

Thank you so much cl-misty_mae for answering!! So all and all, do you think I should take the 'morning after' pill? It was on Friday, so making today the 3rd day after sex. I read that you can take it within 5 days! I mean what I've read says to take it for unprotected sex so I'm kind of wondering, I mean as far as I know, I DID have protected sex. I've even been talking to my mom who I'm very close with and she says I'm good, but I still kind of worry, well maybe not so much worry, but wonder... What about the possibly 'friction' with him trying to enter in the beginning, before I got the hang of it! : P Would that cause tiny tears in the tip of the condom? Aren't those things strong, they look like it!! : )

He would know a lot of these answers. Have you asked him about it? Like if he ejaculated, or if he noticed if the condom was torn?

Here's a link to information on condoms as well:

Personally, I wouldn't be thinking ab out the morning after pill if I was in your shoes. There doesn't seem that there was any leakage from what you have said -- but to be sure, I would talk to him.

Ok, and just when I thought I had asked all I needed to, I have more questions!! : P : /
I just remembered that I had noticed on the sheets 2 'circles' of wetness, there weren't huge, they look like sweat spots actually. They were clear and damp and they dried up rather quickly. I keep worrying what if there was some hole in the condom and he was leaking?! I don't really think that would be likely though, as I said, the wetness was clear, both on his base when I was on top of him and on the sheets. They weren't like 'puddles' either, they were just damp, again, like sweat spots. Also, I know he would have to be leaking from the tip, not from the base right? Is there wetness coming from someone (probably the women) even WHEN a condom is used and used correctly? Also, I realize I've been freaking out even more b/c we used one of those 'baggy head' condoms, a Trojan Twisted Pleasure, so it had more head room. I think me seeing that 'baggy head' come out of me though probably (obviously) freaked me out! : P Thinking it through more though, I would think b/c of that fact, the chance that it broke was nil. What do you think? : ) Thank you all so much!! : )
