Question for guys or girls. Just curious....in a newer relationship, do most guys typically "pull out"? Is this an intimacy issue, or are they just strictly not taking chances with pregnancy? Does this ever change, like once you've become exclusive or long term, and the girl is on the birth control, etc.?

thanks!

>>Should she not engage in sexual activity at all just because he refuses to wear a condom or withdraw? Is his ego that fragile? <<

my god yes! If he refuses to wear a condom, what the hell is she doing having sex with him? If pregnancy is so terrible, I suggest abstinance.

I'd be confident to say that there are no new rules. We've just got some posters with opinions that are...shall we say....outside of the norm.

Absolutely! That wasn't the angle that I was making my statement from. It was **IF** she was also taking the pill.

"If pregnancy is so terrible, I suggest abstinance."

OK...that's always an option for everyone.

The vagina isn't always acidic. The proof lies in our yeast infections - which occur when we get too alkaline.

This thread is getting totally insane. Putting the whole thread on ignore before I say what I really think and get banned.

Maybe, but for every woman who somehow manages to dodge that bullet using withdrawl, there's another one who wasn't so lucky. And who knows which one you'll be? The odds are against you.

well there's no such thing as "normal" if you REALLY think about it.

..what's normal to me is alien to you, vice versa...

the only real interpretation could be common or average..university professors..specifically psychology and philosophy professors stand by it..it's a relavent theory!!

we've all got diff opinions..lets just say that! :-)

Damn. I couldn't find an "ignore thread" button.

I agree that 'normal' isn't a great word.....I don't particularly like it, however after reading so many posters asking "is this normal?" I've gotten used to it.

How about I substitute this: Westridges comments represent what most men and women do in bed. The majority of men will take your permission to have sex as being a sign that it's OK to ejaculate inside. And the majority of women, when giving permission to have sex are also giving him permission to ejaculate inside. Yes, there are people who prefer to do it differently - but they don't represent the majority.

I suppose what we must remember here, is that the OP is not asking what we prefer - she's asking what most men actually do in a new relationship.

>>Question for guys or girls. Just curious....in a newer relationship, do most guys typically "pull out"?<<

And in answer to that question, of the nearly 20 lovers that I've had, I've never had a man pull out.

I agree with Tish.

Sumguy, also consider that a common practice when trying for a girl, is that you have sex before you ovulate. Because the boy sperm die quicker than the girl sperm...which then hang around until you ovulate.

It sure worked for me. I remember trying for baby #2 and one month I was too tired to bother having sex while I was ovulating. But, low and behold, I got pregnant anyway - from sex about 4 days before I ovulated.

Oh, and incase you're wondering, it was a girl :-)
