That plastic smell makes me think of Christmas too! Especially because Christmas is in summer for us. We had a backyard pool and frequently received inflatable pool toys - even today, when my kids receive plastic things like that, I have to smell them and remember Christmas.

Here's a weird memory: One of my old bosses (a most unattractive man) used to wear this really sexy aftershave. My body used to be in a state of confusion - my mind was turned off but my body was turned on.

I totally agree with you about scent...

One of my ex's wore Mambo for men - and even though he was a total loser, that smell made me weak. (I bought it for my brother for Christmas - told him it was a sure thing.)

Another ex gave me one of his flannel shirts to wear because I was cold. It smelled like patchouli oil and cigarettes - but it was him. I slept in that shirt, washed it the next morning, wore it again for awhile, and then gave it back...He said he finally washed it when it didn't smell like me anymore.

But the guy I'm seeing now has a problem. He showers before we have sex, but powders his privates. And I'm not talking just a little to prevent chafing - I mean half a container of powder at a time. Finally last night I had to tell him it was just too much...tried to give him a bj and got dry mouth!!!

Blessings -

Have you ever experienced a scent that works on one person and not another? I recall a wonderful scent that a co-worker wore. I bought some for DH, but it didn't work on him.

Likwise, there is a musk scent that DH likes. I've tried a zillion musky perfumes but none of them on my skin match this scent that he loves.

In the end I've decided to go with the scent that *I* adore. It's called Angel.

Definitely. I'm a bit of a clean freak, as is my guy. I mean not just ourselves, but it's more fun if the whole environment is pretty spotless. I mean sometimes you have to be spontaneous but all things being equal I would rather we were were both cleaned up and looking our very best. No need to be obsessive about it, just a healthy cleanliness!
