Down There

Hey all, I'm new to the boards, so I wasn't sure where exactly to post this question. I just had sex for my first time this summer (I'm 19) and I'm extremely inexperienced about anything inregards to it. My question I have now is: just exactly how much hair to guys expect us to have down there? I understand the whole less is more bit, but I have no idea if how I look down there is going to be a turn off. So that's my concern...what do they want us to look like?

Since there are billions of men, there are also billions of opinions about everything and anything including pubic hair.
Since it's YOUR pubic hair, it should be any way you want it to be. If and when you're in a relationship....you might ask his opinion, but again, it's YOURS, and you do whatever you want to do.
Some men love it, some men don't. What if you get rid of it all, and meet someone like the other poster? Pubic hair is a sign of sexual maturity......women have had it for millions of years, and so have men. Shaving and waxing and trimming are a recent fad....and it will pass.
Hi fallen_angel24,
What do YOU want to look like?
As you become more experienced, you'll come to realize that every man has his own unique likes and dislikes on these and other matters. Not only that, but these preferences can also shift and change within each man, over time and their own experience.
You'll find that guys love women who are hairy down there, bald down there, and everything in between. It just depends on the guy.
With this said, I have to tell you that while physical qualities may seem important to many men, especially men around your age, a woman who is comfortable and confident in who she is, can impress a man a lot more than her physical traits.
For instance, a beautiful-looking woman with no self-confidence is eventually going to be seen as less attractive to a man than an average-looking woman that has true self-confidence and self-esteem.
Best!

Personally, I keep mine shaved into a "landing strip" (for lack of a better term). I started fooling around with guys when I was about your age, and I had the same worry. A guy I was involved with at the time suggested that I trim my bush, so I gave it a shot, and I love how it looks and makes me feel. I agree with everyone else who has said to just do what you like. It's your body, after all.

Fight Cellulite and Remove Hair
A few things we've learned from using blades was to use cool water, not warm or even lukewarm. Make sure your using newer blades, must be as sharp as possible. Keep up with it for consecutive days. Letting them grow back at all is asking for trouble. There is no such thing as using too much gel when shaving down there, so keep that in mind.
Stubble removal products, such as anything similar to the MidasTouch 8000, were reported as VERY helpful. Very worth the effort of looking up online. The Mrs. & I appreciated it.
We've heard good AND bad stories from users of other methods. Be worth a look through an internet search.

I won't get into the "guys have different preferences and anyway it's your body" debate other than to say that it's true and often discussed here.
What to do? I din't think that guys "expect" anything more than you to look "tidy" down there. Personally (and remember this is all just personal opinion from everyone) I think that a basic "safe" thing to do is to just keep the bikini line under control by waxing every-so-often and then trimming the rest with a little battery operated personal groomer. Leave it about 3/4 inch long.
My partner waxes the bikini line as necessary (mostly over summer). She trims all over with her men's beard trimmer so that everything is about 1/3-1/2 inch long. She trims the stray hairs back from over her vagina using the trimmer. After a shower, she uses a Gillette Mach III men's razor and a dab of shave foam to trim the bikini-line sides of the pubic hair so that she has a wide "landing strip" up top. She shaves along the lower bikini-line, and the edges of her labia, and removes all the hair below clitoris level.
Once done, and with some practice, she only needs to touch things up every few days or once a week and that only takes a minute in the shower.
just keep it trimmed close, I dont expect you to go completly shaved, that may leave your
your male freinds to think other things, leaved the baby butt beavers to the strippers and porn stars
Those tips and everything are really helpful. I feel a lot more confident about how I look and some ideas about what to do to make me feel a lil more comfortable. Thanks!
