Actually, most men know about the "over 40" exam.

The bad part of being over 40 is that each time you get an annual physical, you have to have a finger stuck up your butt. Of course, the good part is that at least you don't have to pay for dinner and a movie first.

Hey outdoorsman.

Since you are still ejaculating quite healthily, according to her and you, and since your erections are also quite healthy and you're still enjoying climaxing, then I'd personally, not speaking as a doctor, would likely rule out any retrograde issues. If you still feel this is something different from what you felt before...

...then DEFINITELY seek your doc or urologist and get checked for prostate and possibly retrograde symptoms. This may also be a GREAT topic for the Sexual Health message board to tackle on as well:

Another symptom of something possibly not right could be your urine flow too, by what I've read/learned. Thats worth tracking and then reporting to your docs if you chose to investigate this further with their input.

Outdoorsman, I am a 75 year old man who has a great sex life. Back when I was in my middle 50's, my urine flow started to diminish and after a while it almost stopped. I was in a panic.I went to a urologist and he found a severely enlarged prostate. I had the operation they call "the rotor rooter" job. They cut the tissue inside the prostate to make the urine flow more freely. However, in the process they do remove one of the 2 valves that men have. Men have the one valve at the base of the bladder and the other at the lower side of the prostate. It is the valve at the lower end of the prostate that gets removed. Because this valve is removed, the ejaculate is not sent out the urethra, it is sent back into the bladder. So essentially I have not had any ejaculate come out of the penis for about 20 years. All the feelings are the same, although some men say that the feelings are less intense.

Perhaps your prostate has started to enlarge and this may be why you are not "painting the walls" any more. LOL Perhaps you should see a urologist to have it checked.
