My SO had it for a few months, it can be quite annoying to say the least. Turned out he had labyrinthitis, which is an inflammation of the inner ear canal,
I'm so glad you mentioned that about the inner ear. I remember now that my MIL had a similar problem. Hopefully Em's DHs doctor has already checked, but it's still good to bring it up.
He's a little better today, and going to the doctor again in the morning. Given that the vertigo has been so bad for so long, the doctor wants another look at him to confirm his original diagnosis.
She hasn't had a heart condition that's been diagnosed, but I don't know if she's had an EKG before. It was part of the pre-op tests, and this is the first time she's ever had surgery.
The doctor did mention inflammation of the inner ear canal as a possible cause, but based on his symptoms, he thinks DH has calcium crystals that ended up in the wrong spot and need to get dislodged and move on their way. DH is going to the doctor again in the morning, so it's good to have the info on labyrinthitis. Thanks!
I hope your SO is doing well and doesn't have any relapse.

(((((E M))))), I think you'll need lots of hugs. You're nerves are probably getting a bit frazzled by now.
Thanks for the update. Lots of good wishes coming your way for everything to smooth out.

I should be around next week, I hope.
I think DH is going to put on a brave front and make it down the aisle with no one the wiser to his condition.
I haven't heard from my mother about the results of the ultrasound yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.
You just answered my reply to you.
On the note of your DH's dizziness I am going to send you a PM...
