hi everyone,

I've been looking for a board where I can post this question, and perhaps this one is it.

I am 37, married and the mother of 2 and expecting a 3rd baby in March.

Since having my kids, my vaginal muscles have been weaker than they used to be, which causes some urine leakage when I sneeze, cough, etc. (I know, I know, I have to do my Kegels!)

Anyhow, my question is this. If your muscles are kind of weak like mine, and you have some urine in your bladder, is it possible for the urine to come out when you orgasm? I've read that there is such thing as female ejaculation, and maybe I've experienced it, but my fear is that it's actually urine coming out. If that's the case, what can I do about it? I do use the bathroom right before my husband and I engage in any sexual activities, but being pregnant, my bladder never seems to be truly empty!

If anyone can help with this, I'd appreciate it.

Howdy peanut :P

While I've never had children or been pregnant, I can offer some of what I've heard about this before.

From what I know, slight incontinence is normal during a pregnancy. Sneezing, coughing or being scared suddenly can all cause a little urine to escape the bladder. I've also heard that a Gspot orgasm gives you a kind of "peeing" sensation just before it really hits. Female ejaculate comes from the urethra, just as urine does, but it's a completely different substance. The best thing you can do is just to pee before intercourse (and after, very important), and keep up on those kegels, like you said.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Besides doing your Kegels, not sure what else you can do about it but female ejaculation is not urine.

Hi peanut. Not much help I can offer as a hubby myself, but it looks like you've got great help with these replies anyway. ;)

I've typically read over and over again from both articles AND from ladies right here on the boards that your peeing feeling during sexual activity is ejaculate. I won't get into the physiology of how unlikely it is to be anything other than ejaculate, but I do have links for you to check on.

What Mrs. Para & I would like to get some day is one of those wetness resistant blankets/sheets that we can throw underneath us and be comfortable on. VERY worth looking up!

Along with the great replies from board, here's a few links that I believe would really help you as well. The first one can guide you to great info on the anatomy of this and the others are excellent boards for this kind of topic as well:
