after having sex today with my b/f, I had I guess a Vagina fart, puff of air coming out or something. lol Is this normal?, It was funny/ebmarassing. we laughed it off and he said it was just a job hazard. lol. Is this normal? It came all of a sudden with no control at least I don't think I could have controlled it. Has this ever happened to anybody else before and is there anything I can do about it? Thanks

Yes it is normal. It happens to a lot of people....me included, and I think it's a little embarrassing too. It's just the air that gets trapped inside of you during sex, then it releases itself sometimes while making a sound. My bf and I have talked about it, and laughed about it.....I think it's embarrassing and he thinks it's completely harmless...he doesn't see the big deal in it. Dont worry....your not alone. =)

Yes this is totally normal.
It mainly happens to me when we are doing it doggy style, as she said it's just air that gets in there.
No big deal, happens to most everyone.

As much as we would like it to never happen it does, like the other 2 posters said its perfectly normal if not really awkward when it happends. So, just laugh about it, you cant really prevent them, so might as well make light of it...

While I was reading your post, I was laughing to myself. Then you asked if it's ever happened to anyone else, and I wanted to say NO, never!

Hon, it's happened to every woman who's ever had sex, and it's happened often. You did the right thing, you laughed. That's all you can do. There is nothing to be embarassed about.....it's common, and it's natural.

When air goes into a balloon, and then comes out, it makes noise. Usually it happens when you're in a position where your pelvis is higher than your torso. As you raise your pelvis, or lower your torso, your insides shift upwards, pulling your uterus and cervix upwards, sucking air into your vagina. When you lower your pelvis, everything drops back down, and the air is pushed out.

If you don't want it to happen, make sure not to raise your pelvis.....which kind of limits your activity. Don't worry about it. It happens to everyone, and it's so common it has a name.....it's a "cuif" pronounced "queef".
