First Time questions?

Was just wondering, Me and my partner (not married) have been with each other a little over a year now, We have explored oral and what not. We are very comfortable and have Tons of feelings for each other, and we both feel comfortable saying that were ready to have sex.
My question is, She is going on birth control next week and we plan on having are magical night in a month after that. I was wondering if a month is enough time to be in a good rhythm where birth control would be safe? I do plan on to use a condom, but she wants to try not to once. And I was wondering on how safe would it be to go inside her when shes only been on the pill for a month?
O also, does anyone have any info on a "day after pill"?

She should be on the pill for a full cycle, and starting her second cycle.
Welcome to the board, woody9101.
Once she has been through a full cycle of birth control pills, she should be fully protected by them. As long as she's taking them properly (as Sakura said), then the chances of pregnancy are very, very slim. Unless you are using condoms for protection from possible STDs, there really is no need for them.
The morning after pill is typically only used if you had unprotected sex and there is a chance that she could become pregnant. The only birth control I used prior to having children was the pill, and I never felt unprotected. I don't think you'll need to worry about using the morning after pill so long as she's taking her pills correctly.
I hope you both enjoy your new experiences, it sounds like you're taking all the proper precautions.
