Is there anything, and I do mean "ANYTHING" wrong with a person of either gender seeking ONLY a relationship based strictly on the two of them just being "Friends with Benefits", meaning that they have sex with each other but not wanting to get married or anything like that?

Hi and welcome. It's nice to meet you.

Me, personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Friends with benefits have their place. I had one who was the catalyst for my divorce (I did not leave my husband for him, though my husband thought that I did). I was only with my FWB for six months because he was an alcoholic like my ex (he wasn't abusive or a drug addict as well, like my ex). But he already had an ex-wife and an ex-GF who was the mother of his daughter, so I knew that relationship would never go beyond the FWB stage. But then I met my Master and the FWB fell by the wayside.

As long as you're cool with your FWB, then there shouldn't be a problem. I won't have another one, since I'm married now, but my FWB was there when I needed him to be.

Depends on who you ask. :)

This is certainly a self-selecting group, people who come to talk about sex on an internet message board... :) Probably most of America would find it more controversial than you will here.
I would say it would probably really skew your thinking about friends, sex, and relationships...but the others who have replied obviously see nothing inherently dangerous in it.

As long as you BOTH know the rules......and abide by them.......there's nothing wrong with it.

As a female, you'll probably eventually want more........because most

In the right place, at the right time and for the right reasons... no, nothing wrong with it.

Welcome to the board, nwfref.

I don't see anything wrong with either sex being involved in a relationship that is purely "FWB". Having said that, I'm also assuming that each person is otherwise uninvolved in another relationship. That, IMO, would create a situation that could be wrong.

I had one back in high school, he was the only one I ever did that with. We got along really well, being a couple wasnt meant to be for whatever reason at the time, so that just worked for us.
