Have you used latex condoms every time you've been with your BF? Could you possibly be allergic to the latex? I've never actually know anyone who was allergic to latex and I've never been, so
It does sound like an allergy of some sort. Condoms would be my first thought, but if you haven't used condoms every time you're together, then that theory is out the door.
I would ask him about his laundry detergent and soap ... check your lubes or whatever else you're using and see if you can narrow it down. Unfortunately, these types of allergies can be very difficult to figure out.
Very true, Misty Mae. I had a rash once on my hands that the dermatologist said was contact dermatitis. He could enver figure out what was causing the rash. So jaspergirl could have an allergic reaction to anything.
With allergic reactions, there can be a delay. It can also affect just certain parts of your body. If you're not doing anything different prior to having sex with him (wearing special clothing, using a different bubble bath, etc.) then it's most likely something that he is using on his body or clothing.
I forgot to add that there is a possibility that you could be allergic to his sperm, but that doesn't add up for the time they you used a condom.
One question, did the doctor do a gram stain of your vagina or cervix when she did your exam. In a gram stain the doctor swabs the vagina or the cervix and sends it to the micro lab and has it cultured and stained on a glass slide. Examing the stained glass slide the doctor is given a snap shot of what bacterial flora are in the vagina. I have a mega allergic sensitivity to latex, so I know what it feels like. I thought at one time I'd have to get out

Have you used a condom each time?
Welcome back, Jaspergirl.

A little more information-

Your GYN might be correct too.
