Moon,

So nice to see you here, even if you are on a hiatus from the gym. Exercise still counts if you are NOT at the gym. Sometimes we for get we exercise because we are sedentary in our regular lives. I have moved enough time to know that packing up a house to move is plenty of activity!

Yes, I almost get a message today, seriously but grocery shopping won out...

I had to force myself to take a day off from the gym today, dd went to a yoga class tonight at a new studio near us and I am so jealous. I am going to try a class soon.

Good for you, Ray Jay! I'm sure you'll get back up to full speed too, but don't push it. Afterall, you'll be heading out again soon and will probably loose a little momentum with that trip.

Our decorations are still up, although DH took the timers off of the lights. I do believe they'll be coming down tomorrow ~ if I let him out of bed ;-)

Our tree always stays up until after the Epiphany... which is tomorrow.

DH was raised Catholic, and that was a tradition in his house growing up. It's not one he sticks too, but I did look at the calender earlier today specifically to see when it was!

I figured I was safe for another couple of days, LOL.

Wow, I just did an advanced search and discovered that I haven't posted here since Dec. 11 -- some 280 messages ago! I have been to the gym a few times since then, but I didn't get anywhere close to reaching my goal.

Rather than extending the time to meet my goal, I decided to set monthly goals this year, so the ticker below reflects that. The two hours completed so far includes 40 minutes on the treadmill, 30 on the elliptical, 30 on the stationary bike and 20 minutes of weight work. So far, so good!

Em,

SO excellent to have you posting here again!

I have given up on my ticker but not my goals. I have been faithful to my original goal of 3 plus times per week to the gym since October. I have been regular in doing 5 days of cardio,

Em, a monthly goal sounds like a great idea.

Do you have any exercise equipment at home for those snowy times?

DH and I were having a conversation earlier about getting our garage cleaned out so we can put a bike out there for starters. We do have a weight set, but we can't get to that either.
