It will be interesting to see if it does calm down. This is a new club and really pretty nice compared to what has been around. Many people from the other 2 big gyms have already switched. I used to belong to both at various times and recognize people from those places. It has been pretty busy even through the holidays.

Moon,

I lost my ticker someplace along the way. :-(

I did make it to the gym today even after the loss of sleep last night. I did a Conditioning class using weights and my spin class. I have this little application on my Iphone that counts calories in and out from food intake and exercise. I have been at a deficit of about 1000 calories per week so in a few more weeks I should shed another pound. Not sure I am remembering all the food but I just said ti my DS it is so great to see I burned over 700 calories today and ate like a pig and still have a more calories avaible to consume (if I had room)! DS and his gf made Pasta in Vodka sauce for us tonight for dinner. It was a SUPER treat!

I do plan to skip the wine after tonight until we go away. Now I need someone

I learned on AOL a couple of days ago that the human body can learn to live on 20 less calories a day once one pound has been lost.

RJJJ,

Thanks for that tibit of info! It is amazing how our body adapts.

I have been religious about my work outs and it is time to shake it up a little. I need to work on my upper body so I am trying out a personal trainer who is supposed to be a Master Trainer, he was recommended as a total no nonsense trainer. I fully expect to not be able to type this time tomorrow...

(Hope he doesn't over exercise your fingers though ~ we want to hear about it!)

Here to report a little more progress toward meeting my goal. I need to start getting more serious about strength training, though; almost all my time is spent on various cardio machines. Maybe I should make more strength training part of my goal next month.
