Now that the training program is behind me, I'm ready to move on my goals. I did finally get the decorations taken down over the past couple of days, LOL.

I haven't tried the Wii Fit yet. I was hoping to try that this weekend, and thought it would be good for my DS if he could show me how to do it. He responds very well to getting attention while being helpful, and right now, he's also really into separating what's his from what belongs to anyone else.

I think the 3-day weekend ahead will be a good starting point for that.

My schedule will be slower paced for just a week or so. I'm off to do some must-do type of things today and have lunch with my dad. If I get all of my chores done, and still have time, I'm going to stop by the gym with my gift certificate and get things rolling there.

How much longer will your DS be home before returning to school?

I think I'll pop over to the Oral Sex board and bug Tish about strength training again. I asked her so much about it in late 2007 that Scooter started a thread dedicated to it (as a joke), but unfortunately I've forgotten about 90 percent of what Tish told me.

Moon,
LOL, yes I suppose appearances are important. OK, he is half my age at least...I could be his mother. In very good shape if you like the really muscular type. I prefer the less muscle bound look, even though he is pretty balanced for a lifter.
I told dh I was doing this and he wasn't very happy. He was concerned WHO the trainer was and that he would make a pass at me. Nice that dh is protective but it is only me, the trainer and 20 or so other people on the work out floor at the same time!

I was a bit sore this morning but felt great after my spin class.

What does your trainer look like? Are you still doing that?

Now that the training program is over, will you have a job or do you have to start a search for employment?
How is your dad doing these days? Seems like you have had your plate very full!

DS will be home until Saturday then he gets to go to the Inauguration! Then he will be home again for a week before back to school.

Awww, how cute that your DH is so protective, Liv. DW and I solved the 'jealousy' issue by working out with the same trainer.

I wish dh and I had the same fitness goals then we could work out together with the same trainer. He needs to lose some weight so I do cardio with him on some days that we can. But I need the upper body stuff and he is pretty content working on his own for that.

I know Tish is really into exercise -- good plan you have there.

I've heard of a lot of people going to the Inauguration. So cool that you DS gets to do that!

Well, before I ever began the training for the on-line job, I had been searching tirelessly for a job. The training was actually because of an application that I had put in back in October! We're looking into possibly opening our own business. Besides needing the extra income right now, we want to find something that DH and DS can work into also. I've owned my own businesses for years, and didn't really want to go that route. It's exhausting, LOL.

My dad is doing pretty well these days. He is having surgery, and I just found out today, it's been moved up to next week. I think if all goes well with that, he'll be doing a lot better.
