I think dropping the weights sound like a good idea. You don't want to over do and cause any sorts of injuries. Besides just not wanting that, it will set you further back off schedule. Maybe try two 20 or 25 minutes session on the elliptical too. (I'm not sure how that time thing goes, but it seems like a few less minutes each session would take too much away from your workout ~ then you can work back up to the 30 minutes sessions in a week or so.)

Sounds like a good idea dropping a little of the weight. But please, whatever you do, don't try to rush losing the weight. You don't have to do it in 8 weeks. Just take your time and take it off slow and easy. We're all
