Thanks BL and Misty!
It so helps to have your friends cheering you on. I think that is why we do things like this!
I will continue to post on the Summer challenge to keep that alive and kicking.

And thanks for the compliment.....<<<<>>>>>>

Truth is, I'm a whimp, LOL.

I signed up via e-mail for the challenge. Then every day this week, I got e-mails with the daily challenge ... but that's where I whimped out. The first day, there were (what looked like) tons of things to do, just that day. Seemed like a little much for someone who was just starting to get into an exercise program. I'm not sure if that's true, but I never did get started (yet). I figure I have the e-mails and can always start on any day that suits me -- preferable one where we aren't taking on so much water.

I have been practicing on the Wii .... only problem, I've been practicing Guitar Hero :-) instead of the exercises, LOL.

lmao..... Stop the guitar hero and exercise... You're silly... I'll have to check my emails, see if there is anything there.

Hello there!

I didn't know where to post this, so I dredged up the old thread. I am happy to report that I have been going to the gym regularly this month, and it looks as though I will actually meet my workout goal! Maybe the thyroid medication is working, or maybe I just think it is - LOL. Either way, I do have more energy and haven't been lethargic like I was for a while.

How is your program with the coach going? (BTW, a fitness coach named Savage made me laugh. Seems appropriate.)

Hi Em - I couldn't resist stealing your post - it so good to see you - how have you been?

I'm still going to the gym 3 days a week except if one of those days is a chance to fish - then the gym loses. My weight is staying the same even though I'm not dieting any more - but I am calorie conscious. Once this Labor Day passes - I'll spend the next 6 to 8 months seeing if I can get another 20 pounds off through the winter.

Misty - promises have been made for tonight - woo hoo.

Everyone have a nice weekend.

I was just thinking about this thread whilst out at lunch. There's a goal I set for myself back in the beginning, that I'm some months behind in achieving, but that I'm now starting to make some significant progress towards.

Thanks for digging it up.

I did indeed bring a bike west with me, as being out here by myself I expect to have plenty of time for riding. I've also found a place to live that's within longish walking (or short riding) distance of where I'll be working.

Good luck with your plans tonight, Ray Jay ;-)

BTW, did you get to go fishing today?
