Hey Lyn!
It's not just prolonged inactivity that makes it difficult to get back into shape -- it's age too. I've often said I love everything about my 40s except having to work out like a hamster on speed just to maintain what I've got. ;-)

I kind of figure that coffee creamer is supposed to have a little fat in it. ;-)
We do drink nonfat milk, though.
Congrats on the weight loss, BTW. Weren't you going to wait until Tuesday to weigh in?

Playing basketball with your DS sounds like good exercise! DH and I will be taking some long walks on the beach later this month, though they'll be more romantic strolls than calorie-burning activities. The calorie-burning activities take place after the romantic strolls. ;-)
I'm still working out a way to get to the gym as often as I'd like, but I've let everyone know it's going to be a higher priority for me. Yes, it is a good stress reliever -- and, unfortunately, my main outlet for stress relief these days.

I hear you there! The skin just doesn't seem to go back into shape quite as easily as it used to!
At least when you started this you knew what would taste okay and what wouldn't.
I'm kind of having some trouble because h left today for his vacation (YEAH!!!) so I really haven't done much of anything and I went back to bed after he left and didn't get up til 9. My girls let me sleep in!
I really should try some of the fat free things sometime. Right now isn't a very good time for me to do that.
You are so right! The fat free miracle whip isn't too bad but most things...watch out!
Em,
Love the new name! I have not caught up on the Pouter's Club yet. I mean I WAS caught up before my trip. Now I am home and have to start again. I may not make it to the gym for a day or two, I am coming down with what feels like a kicker of a cold and after all the partying we did these past 4 days, no wonder. I really can;t wait toget back though.
BTW the incline treadmil is wonderful, but for us who have hip problems, that degree of impact prevents more than
I haven't had any fat free Miracle Whip - just the low fat version - - the same with cottage cheese.

I'm with you Liv on the inclined treadmill - it is a great tool but in order for me to get to my needed cardio heart rate, I need 10 or more degrees angle and that starts aggravating my knees in less than 30 minutes.
