lol.. I know you're right, but I am not used to this added weight and it's so frustrating! I just want to fit into my clothes again the way I used.

You won't get the feeling back. I'm not really to sure why, but I was told that by the doctor about mine. And I know from my surgery I had over 10 years ago, it's still basically numb..

I guess I'm just shocked with it this time. I've always gotten the feeling back after the other surgeries, but I think with as many cuts as I've had, I'm doomed. Those poor nerve endings just don't have any "mending" left in them.

I have to count out the almonds and then close the bag and put it up before I eat the first one.

My DW never fully got the feeling back after her kidney surgery, and my DD is 7 so that surgery was almost 8 years ago.

The evening hours are when my willpower is at its lowest. I can be really, really good about what I eat all day long, but once dinner is over with, work is done for the day, and the youngest child is down for the night I just want to kick back, check out the boards, watch a baseball game (during the season) — and the munchies kick in in the worst way.

Hi Mrs. P! I got called away before I had a chance to reply to you the other day and am just now getting back to it.

I found something similar to an elliptical that is a much more natural motion for me. I can't remember what it's called -- I'll have to look at the gym tomorrow. The pedals are on a slight incline but still provide a fluid motion, and instead of the ski pole handles, it has a bar at my height to hang onto.

Most of my problem with the elliptical is, I believe,

You don't have to justify your weigh-in date to me! I was just curious. Best of luck to your DW with her outpatient visits, and to you with your workouts. Your dedication -- both to DW and to the exercise program -- is inspiring.
