Your post cracked me up!!

OMG Misty, how did you know that candy corn is my weakness! I really can forgo the chocolate, hence the easily skipped Baby Ruth's but I did have a few candy corn. I started to eat them then realized, NOOOOO and fed the rest to the dogs. I hope that does not constitute animal cruelty since these are beagles and they think their own poop is a treat.

LOL< sorry I am feisty this morning. And yes, burned a lot of calories before 6 AM and I was NOT at the gym.

LOL, Liv .... I just went back and edited out that part of my message. I realized it was just a point of me wallowing in self-pity instead of providing you support! (Although, I do think the fat free, sugary sweet treats are much, much easier to avoid.)

Hi Bronco!

I checked the site out. Seems they have more than one type of exercise program -- do you have one that you recommend?

Also, did you order their products too?

Lyn, you have such great encouraging words for everyone!

I love to see that!!!!

I will share that I did some exercises this morning, starting off slow with some stretching and bending more than anything. Last night, I had salad for dinner .... and resisted the fudge sickle DH brought home for me!

sounds good. But during the week would be extremely hard for me. Well maybe not but it would be difficult since my dd demands so much of my time in the evening and with dinner and homework and housework. maybe its an excuse but its just not looking good to me. I really would like to but I dont think so. I have decided to pull out my dvds of the pilates and go and buy one of those balance balls and start again. If i can keep it up about 20 minutes a day i could loose quickly. Im thinking about it.

Great new Halloween siggy's, BL!

I think the meds are one of things making it difficult for you. Especially the steroids.

As far as your diet, you might want to cut out some of the bread. It usually has a lot of sugar and carbs. Lunch meats can be full of not so good stuff too. Maybe try putting the lunch meats on top of a green salad (chefs salad) so that you still get those tastes without the bread.

I know carbs are a killer for me. The other thing I have a lot of trouble with is cheese. I crave that stuff and use it for most of my protein and milk source -- but it's so full of fat it's ridiculous.

I can't stand the stuff, but I know a lot of people swear by oatmeal for breakfast. I need to actually get in the routine of eating breakfast. Lunch is usually my main meal of the day, but I'm going to try and start eating a small bowl of cold cereal in the mornings so that I'm not so hungry when lunch does roll around.

Hey, De ... how about trying to get DD to do some of the video exercises with you? I think it would make for some fun mother-daughter time!

she does like that. I will try to see if she will. I am sure anything to push that homework back another 5-20 minutes will work for her...lol thanks for the suggestion. I will get her a balance ball as well. we can exercise when i get home together. that might help. I will try it out.
