Got caught in the act by son

Have to share my New Years eve most embarrasing moment with someone...Hubby and I were just finishing up last night. Candles lit in bedroom, no blankets on bed any more and in doggie style position. Our 12 year old son walked right in to say he thought someone was knocking on the door. It was the radio on my bed banging up against the wall LOL. We have been recently enforcing a knock before you enter rule and well it was 2 am and he must have figured we were asleep. I have never had any of my children walk in on me. Luckily we had just finished or I would have lost it completely. Hubbys response...while laughing hysterically says oh well...I think it is good for them to know we have sex. I am sure my son was humiliated I just dont want him sharing this with his other brothers or friends. Our bedroom door is broken and we have to lean something up against it to keep it shut. Hubby is at lowes as I type buying me a new bedroom door and a knob with a lock on it.

LOL!! We had a similar event this past year but our son is 17. It was early in the morning and I usually wake thr kids to get ready for school. This one morning we were running a bit late and I was busy finishing dh with a BJ, both of us completely naked, and me leaning over dh with my body completly exposed. DS walked in thinking WE over slept. BOY did

That was a New Years awaken I'm sure you weren't expecting, Tiffany.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. He *will* talk to his brothers and friends about it -- if not now, eventually. It's okay if they all know that the two of you are human and love each other. If he seems to be acting differently (shy, embarrassed, etc.), then you might want to try to talk to him about what he saw, just reassuring him that this is what people in love do -- especially when they're married. My bet is it will just fall behind all of you without even having a discussion, and that this son will never just walk in the room again (lock or not).

I totally agree about being open about sex. We have talked openly about it alot with our kids and the dangers of it. LOL LOL LOL @ the always pads. I forgot to flush my tampon last week and my 9 year old was flipping out when he went to the bathroom. So we had to have the talk. I had assumed he already knew about the period via his brothers and I thought my husband had told him about it. OH how wrong I was. He was completely disgusted of course. He has a big mouth so I had to really stress to him not to discuss it at school. He said I never in my life want to discuss something so disgusting. I will not marry a woman that bleeds LOL. He was not to happy when I told him he is gonna have a hard time finding a wife then.

LOL about the pads. When my youngest son was about 5 years old, he discovered me wearing a pad one day when he walked in the bathroom. He said "ewww ... you wear diapers"! He held on to that for about 3 or 4 months, while we were trying to get him out of diapers at night, LOL.

He will have a hard time! My oldest son was once worried that he would have to marry a girl who looked like she had a "butt crack" showing out of the top of her shirt. I still ROFL, to this day, over that one -- especially as his 15yo head is turning at the girls!!!!

Oh no ;-)

I think he will share with his brother and friends especially after the initial shock that you actually do have sex.

At least you got a new door and luck now right.

Cute story

MY DD, who was 22yo at the time, did not catch us in a visual sense....but she heard us. Her room is in another area of the house and I had not imagined that she could hear us.

The following morning, after I signed into my email at work, I had a terse note from her expressing her alarm at her parent's behavior. She closed with some sort of a tart remark about my waking the neighbors.

That night at dinner I very demurely reminded her that neither she nor her brothers were deposited on our doorstep by the Stork. I reminded her also that she's lucky to have parents who, after 26 years, still are together and interested in each other.

That is not to say I didn't blush to purple reading her words...

I imagine the purple went quite well with the rest of your coloring, Mrs. P.
