He does it because like everyone he enjoys it. Masturbation isn't always because you can't have sex, it's fun in its own right.

Sometimes people just want to get off without having to think about someone else, masturbating is fun and easy, just you to think about; bliss. Sex for a guy involves a lot of work and effort, and being concerned with someone else's pleasure. When you just want fun, masturbation is great.

It's similar to fixing a snack instead of cooking a meal; sometimes you just want the easy option.

Why on Earth should he wait for you to be around?

Have a look at the post "How normal is this?" by Tigger in this same section.

Guys of 19 have a high sex drive and masturbating a couple of times a day is really normal. As long as he can still perform when you want him there is no problem.

In fact, some guys often masturbate just before they go to see a g/f and have sex so that they last longer with her! Usually they'd cum real fast the first time and take longer the second time!

Masturbating is fun and easy. It feels good and most guys can easily give themselves an orgasm inside 5 minutes without having to worry about the whole sex routine of getting clothes on and off, getting into bed and having to worry about pleasing anyone else.

Basically, it feels good and they can do it and it doesn't affect their sex life with their partner. Why not?

Men masturbate, women masturbate, whether they're in a relationship, married, that doesn't matter.

Because guys his age think about sex on the average of every 20 seconds, or something like that......and masturbation feels good. So, if they have a chance, they masturbate. It has nothing to do with whether or not they have a girlfriend. Married men masturbate, too. Sometimes right next to their wives, in bed!

All previous advie is right on the money. Men & Women masturbate, different people have different drives some more some almost not at all. Masturbation is a great tension reliever or maybe just a personal quickie...as in snacks think of a personal pan pizza! LOL Seriously though, check out tiggers post on is it normal & don't worry... It has nothing to do with if youaren't good enough, it's just something he enjoys as well as you...Maybe try it yourself & see!

girley, Relax..His habits are no reflection about how he feels about you. For men, a high libedo is like an itch..it needs to be scratched. The only time you should be concerned is if he withholds sex from you. That (could) indicate a relationship problem. Its not the other way around as you probably suspect. Givin a choice, I`m sure her would rather have sex with you. But if time and privacy permits, just assume he`s going to masturbate. I admit I do it less often than before I was married, but I still do it.I do it less often because my wife wants sex often too, so my need for release is satisfied often with her.

When a guy masterbates it has absolutely nothing to do with his woman. It is just a release. He is just getting a release. It is not a reflection upon you at all. Twice daily is a little much, I should say, but, I am not him, so I don't know. Don't worry about it. Do you still have sex regularly? Do you have fulfilling sex? Then why worry??? If not, talk to him about it.

19? My bf is in his 30s and does it fairly often.

It keeps them healthy and happy. Also, since they aren't overly excited when they see you (physically, not emotionally), they can last longer. At first, I was kind of put off by it, but now I appreciate it. Granted, I don't want to know about it unless I can have a hand in it *wink* don't even worry about it. it's entirely normal. and maybe you can offer to help him next time so he'll think about you when he does it or will want to wait until you can be there to lend a hand.
