whether a woman shaves or not "down there"? I'm entering the dating world again and I'm anxious about this topic. I've had a BF in the past who enjoyed me being shaved and it was an unpleasant experience for me because of my very sensitive skin. I don't mind trimming, but I'd rather not "go all the way". Does it gross you out if a woman isn't shaved? Thanks for any and all advice! I appreciate it!

Welcome to the board luckymama2em. Hopefully some of our male members will be along to answer your question. I think in part, age might make a difference in the world of "to shave, or not to shave".
My hubby doesn't want me to shave or do a landing strip. He doesn't like the look, and thinks it will make him feel like he's with a very young girl. He's not fond of women in porn all being shaved, and it's not something he's experienced IRL (by request). I'm 44 and he's 54, and shaving wasn't popular in our younger lives.
You can also do a search in the "find messages about" box above. Try words like hair, shave or wax and you should get some results. Here's a thread where a member was asking if guys minded the razor stubble as hair was growing back:

There are also some aids on the market that are supposed to reduce the sensitivity caused by shaving the genitals. Some of the threads talk about those too.
Good luck with rejoining the dating game, and feel free to stick around and let us know how things are going.
I'm not a guy, but I have something to say lol.

It's YOUR body, and you do what YOU prefer.
I certainly don't think that most men expect clean shaven and I think that most sensible men know that maintenance and comfort with clean shaven in the long termcan be a right pain for many.
