Guys -- Pre-cum?

Although I read about it in erotic stories, etc., I have never produced pre-cum. I gather it is nature's way of helping get the lubrication started. I once asked a doctor about it & was told not to worry. I'm not worried at all (although I am a bit jealous of other's ability, since my gf HATES it when I lick my fingers -- makes her think of porn movies! LOL!). I am curious, however.

Guys, do you or don't you? Does this change with age? Level of excitement?

My DH produces a few drops every minute or so upon erection but it seems that the firmer the erection, the more he will produce.

BTW, What are you using the spit for? I would think that KY or Astroglide would be more effective and longer-lasting for manual foreplay.

its been my experience some men produce pre-cum and some don't....my husband never did, the man i am currently dating doesn't either...but i had been with another man who leaked lots of it and that was fun too.

as for you licking your fingers, why?...i've never found i needed a man to do that to me...besides which it seems saliva drys up immediately, so i can't imagine that would do much good...its normal for females to lubricate themselves and i just can't imagine any benefit to "spit".

in conclusion, it seems some men do and some men don't leak pre-cum...both are obviously normal and cool by me.

What makes you think you don't leak? It's hardly noticeable, just small drops, and if you're near her vulva, it's mixing with her lubrication, and since you don't "feel" it happening, you'd never notice it.

One word of caution, every little drop contains hundreds of sperm, and a woman can easily get pregnant from it. If your partner isn't on b/c, and you're not using a condom from the moment you're erect, you might find out the hard way that you're wrong.

And if you're right, as the doctor said, why worry? Those few drops don't have any effect sexually.

You are right not to worry about not producing it, but you should also know, that its not really accurate to assume pre-cum is there for lubrication purposes. I know it varies from guy to guy, but I don't think there would be enough of it from the majority of guys to make any difference for lubrication. Pre-cum is just semen biologically, which means its primary purpose is delivery of sperm. The fact that it arrives with erection instead of orgasm is mostly a side effect of gearing up the machinery of sex. In other words, our organs aren't really built to produce lubrication.

Oh, but if she's not on birth control, you should definitely beware. That's a very easy way to get pregnant.

I have precum during sexual intercourse. Most time, I don't feel it coming out of the penis. The precum will ooze out of the penis. Note: precum has enough sperm to get a woman pregnant. mac

Virtually never produce it except for times when the foreplay has been long and I have been aroused for some time. Then maybe I'll notice a drop at the tip. I'd never notice if the head of the penis wasn't dry ie if I'd had fellatio as part of foreplay.

I do produce pre-cum, generally when I'm more aroused than normal. I used to think the purpose of it was to aid penetration, but the more I think about it, the more I conclude that if the woman isn't ready to be penetrated the few drops of pre-cum won't make a difference.

I would like to use salive for initial moisture, and yes, I know, it is not ideal nor the long term solution. But reaching for the KY isn't really practical at those moments, and besides, I may want to use my tongue later and KY ain't that great tastin'! LOL!
