Hairy or shaved chests on men??

I have been dating a guy who is in great shape. Although he does not have much chest hair to begin with he shaves his chest smooth about once a week and I LOVE IT! Also he does his forearms and that smooth sleek look drives me wild! Plus he trims neatly in other places to. I am addicted to this look and feel.
My old BF chest was so hairy it was disgusting!

Any thoughts on this topic?

LOL! Yes, it's JUST hair, people...just hair. And it's not a stranger's hair in your teeth, for goodness sakes...it's your loved one's hair! The very same one you swap spit with, whose semen you may swallow and whose bum you may lick! LOL! We need to keep this in perspective.

It doesn't matter to me. DH has a small patch of hair on his chest and hair on his arms. I find him very sexy. I also like smooth chests. I guess it really depends on the man and the connection we have. My dh shaves his testicles and all around the "bikini" line. I find that sexy because he's just started doing it and it's a new sensation. I found him sexy before he did it. I don't care for hair on a man's back but it wouldn't bother me enough to end a relationship or to judge someone over.

>>I read where modern men are getting less and less hairier anyway through evolution.<<

You know, that probably is happening. Wouldn't surprise me if it was. But the process of evolution usually takes so long that it's unlikely that anyone will notice less hairy chests for quite a few dozen thousand years yet.

Ask him to trim or laser it??? No way. By the time I saw Dh's chest, I already liked him, so it didn't really matter. He's relatively hairless chestwise, but if he'd been hairy, I wouldn't have cared.

I wouldn't ask him to remove it, any more than I would want him to ask me to shave body hair.

I was talking about the difference in perceptions of men's body hair over the course of the previous generation or two, not thousands of years of evolution.

That's a common misconception, but that's not the way evolution works. Just because we don't need something anymore doesn't mean that it's going to go away over time. We don't NEED our appendix, but we've still got one. Now, IF this fad of women preferring hairless men got serious, so that women wouldn't have sex with hairy men AND that also applied to hairy men who tried to trick the women into having sex with them by shaving their bodies AND this was pretty universal and went on for a long, long time AND the men also started having sex only with women who were also naturally hairless THEN we might start seeing men who were less hairy than today, eventually.

Also, I'm a pretty hairy guy, but my younger son, who is only 17, is just as hairy as me, and he's a LOT hairier than I was at his age. The difference is that he shaves his chest and forearms because the girls tell him that it's 'gross'. He does leave his 'happy trail', but I'm hoping that's only wishful thinking on his part (it would have been for me, that's for sure, LOL).

Being a chest hair lover for over 30 years, I don't care for the hairy back, but love hair a the base of penis. I can lay there and just play/rub and carress every hair on his body (and I have for at leasst 3 hours & never tire of it). And yes, there can be such a thing as too much hair. So it came as a great shock that I love my current guy's body: He has the perfect base amount and the hair on him is a lovely growth around the belly button. I never known skin as silky soft and I LOVE IT! Who knew hairless could feeeeeeeeel sooooooo great!!!! :)
