Have you ever gotten wet during a gynocological exam?
- No, there's nothing sexy about it.
- Only once, and it was embarrassing.
- Only once, but I wasn't embarrassed.
- A few times, and it was embarrassing.
- A few times, but I wasn't embarrassed.
- Most of the time, and it's embarrassing.
- Most of the time, but I'm not embarrassed.
- Almost always, and it's embarrassing.
- Almost always, but I'm not embarrassed.

So, simply because you didn't get the results that YOU expected or assumed from your poll, you're concluding that the Moral Majority has taken charge? Please.
You got opinions based on personal experience. No one has anything to gain by lying about that on an anonymous message board!
And no one has said that it might NEVER happen in that situation either. Just that it would be rather unusual if it did. ANYTHING is possible though.
But believe me, simply because this particular exam involves examining the genitalia and breasts, it has nothing to do with sex whatsoever. Maybe as a man you have trouble believing that but it's true.
And I hardly think an exhibitionist would get too excited during a once-a-year exam with a gyno who looks at genitalia all day long! He's seen them all, hers are nothing new or unusual and his reaction won't be what she is hoping for either.
And in case you didn't realize, there is a female nurse in the room during the exam for the drs. protection. So, no, it's NOT a sexy moment when the speculum is being inserted and your rectum is probed. NOT in the least.

No. Not combative at all - just trying to shed some light on some thoughts thrown around.
First of all, I was trying to separate the two. There are "situations" where the woman may become aroused even BEFORE the actual exam. If that's the case, then it will not matter where he touches her because she'll already be aroused. She may even get further aroused during the breast exam, but what I was trying to say was that having a cold-metal object inserted, just isn't stimulating. So other than the breast stimulation, there is NO other stimuli to arouse. But, on the other hand, even if a woman wasn't aroused prior to the exam, if the clitoris was touched, she may react physically, and yes, maybe even if a warm, less rigid object were inserted into her vagina, she may as well...but that's not the case, which is probably *why* most women don't get aroused physiologically - there's just not enough stimuli.
When my DW says "Bend over and relax," I can get excited.
When my DR says "Bend over and relax," I get nervous.
