ouch.

Hmm. If you have been checked by a doc, then I am thinking it may just be normal hormonal fluctuations. There are times in my cycle when my odor (and probably taste) changes. And just

ksc,

what does your diet consist of...and how much? food can play a formidable role in smell.

also...when you shower...don't do any douche afterwards. just the thought of that sounds unclean. Just take a bath or shower - and get extra clean. I wouldn't put any other chemicals down there.

thoughts from a guy...no more. no less.

Welcome to the board ksc393. Sorry to hear you're having this problem. Each person does have their own scent, and diet can affect it. For a few days, try eating more fruit and less meat and see if that makes a difference.

Douching isn't necessary, and probably won't change your smell either. You've already been to the doctor, and all things are normal (no infections, etc.). Douching can mess up your own chemical balance and cause you to get an infection easier.

Showering beforehand should be sufficient. Also, try a perfume free body soap. Sometimes, your body can react differently to different scents there too.

I was too humiliated to ask right away if it is a recent change he has noticed or if he always felt this way.

(((HUGS))) It could be that you just ate too many pungent foods and that caused a stronger odor, or it could be a hormonal shift that changed your scent, but if your doctor ruled out infection and didn't say anything about odor, and you've never had anyone say something about it before, I would
