My boyfriend and I just started becoming sexually active now that we're over 18 and in college. With our inexperience, a problem that has occurred has left us frustrated and confused. When hes penetrating he hits something in my body. It hurts so much and it feels like hes hitting a brick wall and consequently, it bounces him out. I'm wondering what this could be and what some solutions are. Thanks.....

I'm so not a doctor, but he's probably hitting your cervix (which is the opening to your uterus way at the back of your vaginal canal.) It's normal - he might be big, you might be small, and I think just about every sexually active has had a partner hit their cervix. It defintely doesn't feel good! Try different positions that don't penetrate so deeply, like if you're spooning and he penetrates from behind, or try getting on top so you can control how deeply he goes inside you. Missionary and "doggie style" allow for pretty deep penetration, so be careful when you're doing those.

Good luck!

It sounds like he's hitting your cervix.
