Hood or Helmet..... which is which?

I came across this term on the website for a band that i like (Out of Your Mouth). It was part of the questionnaire for each member of the band. Obviously its about whether the person is circumsized or not, but I don't know which is which. To be honest, since I've only seen one penis before, and it was uncircumsized, I don't really know what the difference is. I know some of the skin has been cut off, but how much? I thought it was just at the tip, and was a small bit, but well I don't think that's true. Anyway, if someone could clear up the Hood or Helmet thing, and can explain the physical difference, I'd appreciate it.

Yes, once it is retracted it stays that way. The skin moves on the shaft, but I think circumsized guys are like that too. I used to hurt to retract it all the way, especially when it was erect, so I guess I'm pretty tight. That sounds weird... Anyway, I got over that. But that is probably why it doesn't slide back and forth as easily as the guy you had sex with.

Mine retracts during intercourse because it gets pushed back, and once back, basically stays there. I think that the skin moves on the shaft a lot more than the skin on a circumsized penis. I heard somewhere that one of the purposes of a foreskin is to aid in penetration. As it is pushed in the skin retracts and slides back helping the penis slip into the vagina. For those handymen out there, it's like sealed bearings on a wheel or rollers on a filing cabinet drawer.

To answer yasmin's question: My foreskin doesn't retract and uncover the glans when erect either. However, because it is more stretched when erect it takes very little to move it into the retracted position.
