One thing we do to keep the sparks alive and to take the "monotony out of monogamy" is to do a little role playing as if we were each other's affair. I'll call dh my boyfriend and he calls me his other woman...we can get pretty raunchy with that, helps break us out of our day-to-day roles of being spouses and parents. We even have aliases...

I have lots more but this one jumped out at me as a nice addition to the article.

OMG! If my GF did any of that stuff I would have a heart attack. She just doesn't think this way and never has. It is prolly my fault to some extent because I am a horn-dog and chase her around the bedroom "figuratively speaking" 24/7.

These days she wears armor plated PJs to bed because I used to sneak up on her while she was sleeping and gently apply warmed up KY to her naughty bits. She would typically moan a bit in her sleep and by the time she was fully awake she would be wet and ready to go. She always told me she enjoyed this because she was really relaxed and well rested so the timing was great, but lately she has discouraged this practice... "heavy sigh"

I'm the one with the imagination on our relationship and she is typically very conservative. "It took me several months of coaxing just to get her to start trimming her pubic area a bit."

Oh well, the grass is always greener...

"Oh well, the grass is always greener..."

I don't know how old the two of you are, but you might just need to give her more time. I always thought my grass was greener, but since I've been in my 40s, I've realized a whole new shade of green!!!!!!

Agreed cl-misty_mae,
The hottest women I know are in their 40s....
Emotional and sexual maturity are a sexual secret only guys who have dated older women ever find out about. I discovered this fact when I was quite young and always dated older women.

I think Benjamin Franklyn was really on to something when he recommended to a young man that her prefer older women to very young ones.

Not to mention that women in their 40s typically can make you just flat out beg for mercy. >:D

All the Best

LOL at the "beg for mercy", ad0be.

Lucky for us, hubby finds that he's able to last longer as he ages ... he's 10 years older than me, so maybe that's a secret of older guys!!!

Any woman thinking about trying some of the ideas in the article should know her partner well enough to anticipate his reaction and behave accordingly. For instance, these

I haven't read the article yet to comment on what is suggested there, but the points you made are all great!!!!

I think one that I would add to it is "Don't take your relationship for granted". All of the things that you mention play into that statement as well.

I'm sure that it comes as no surprise that I'm asking this question, but I just had to ask.
