How can you tell penis size?
| Thu, 06-01-2006 - 11:01pm |
Hi all,
New to the board and have a question for girls - how can you tell the size of your BF/DH penis whether it is 5 or 6 inches or whatever? I have seen just a few myself and I can't really tell exact measurements. I have been reading on some posts here where girls talk about those specific inches about their BF's penis. Do girls measure them or is it just their best estimates?
Thanks.

Good question, and I can answer for myself and my buddies.
In general, we discuss maybe breast size, and possibly hips, you know 36-26-36 thing.
I know that I myself do not discuss things about my partner to my friends. It's sort of a preservation thing as well as respect. I don't want other men to know the goods about my GF because they will want her and ....
We have just discussed past GFs or other women in this manner.

Hey Luv......I don't think it takes much training, lol All the better department stores and specialty shops have fitters. You could cause a sensation!
Oprah had a show about a year ago, all about finding out your correct bra size. MOST of us, myself included, go to the store, find the size we think we need and buy it. In the 70's when going braless was in "style".....I loved it, because bras can be the most uncomfortable piece of clothing imaginable.
Anyway, back to Oprah. They had volunteers from the audience (who are usually VERY well dressed) come up and be fitted. There are two components to bra sizes. The measurement around the chest (the 40 in 40D) and the cup size (the D). Women who had come in wearing a 38D left wearing a 40C (example) and someone wearing a 40DD left wearing a 38G! And they all looked better and felt more comfortable with the correct sizes.
I was shocked that bras come in G cups, up to J & K cups! Unfortunately, the places that offer fitters also usually carry only very expensive lingerie......so you can pay $50 and up for a bra. Most of us don't like paying that much.....so we go to Kmart, lol
Hi katmandoo2001:
With a 4 inch penis, I knew I had to be a better lover to make up for my penis size. Also, I learned to give sensual massages, regular massages, and foot reflexology. So far, things have worked out; I have to work harder...

I've asked my DH the guys discussing vaginas question and he says no. Boobs on a potential or recent date, maybe. Below the belt? No.
But then, who knows what men talk about on Sunday afternoon after a hot date on Sat. night? I'm sure, it has more to do with one-upping one another in some way than actual bragging or complaining, don't you?
What's the matter Luv, do you have a shy guy?
I always smile when women talk about their man who has a 7.5 " , 8.5", even 9" or 10 " penis. A little reality here. Yeah, most men have measured at one time or another, but even for research purposes there are questions about how exactly to measure ( from where to where?). Also there is the "fudge" factor. Men over-state their size just like women understate their weight (research has shown that women under-state their weight by about 15 lbs). Then of course their women add even a bit more to this since it is exceedingly rare for a woman to actually do the measuring.
Anyway, back to reality. Penis size surveys have revealed that when self-measured, the average comes out nearly an inch longer than when the men are clincally measured by someone else. One of the best studies (with clincal measuring) shows the average is right around 5.75". 85% of men fall between 5" and 7". Only 5% are 7.25" or larger. Only 2.2% are 8" or larger. So when I hear all this talk about 7.5", 8", 8.5", 9" or more , I just have to think, "Wow, un-huh, these women all have guys in that top percentage."
If you ask me, the reason the majority of women don't orgasm from intercourse has nothing to do with penis size. A more revealing statistic might be that most men last an average of about 5 minutes during IC, while most women need about 10-15 minutes of stimulation. That's where the "gap" lies, though it almost never gets mentioned in these discussions.
