How-to: Down there muscles

Hey everyone.
I remember reading a post about how a girl's partner mentioned something about girls in Thailand and their down there muscles (I forget the right term..started with a K...) Anyways, I was wondering about something. Is there a proper way to use these muscles?? Is it better to contract them in the beginning of or around where he/me climaxes?? (I know women involuntarily contract those muscles during orgasm so I'm not talking about that) When he's on top or I'm on top?? Does it have a stronger effect in certain positions??
Maybe it's different for everyone but I'm asking the people who actually do it just for their opinion from experience.

they're called Kegel excercises. Or as we Aussies say: "pelvic floor exercises"
I can't advise you the best way to use them because all men are different. They best way would be to experiment with his feedback.
Meanwhile, when you're doing your exercises, don't just clench and loosen. Think instead of a lift. Hold your muscles at level 1, then tighten to level 2, then back to one, ground and then...basement. Repeat. In time, you can learn to do this fluidly.
