I voted "when it feels right for the both of us." I don't think that's something that you can put a time limit on. I think it's nice when it happens spontaneously instead of planning when it's going to happen. With one partner it may take awhile to get to that comfort zone, while with others it may happen quickly.

I voted "When you get married" because it was the closest ansere for me. Both DH's had prososed marriage prior to getting of the goods from me. Commitment and lengthy time of involvement are requirments of mine.

I believe.

That you shouldn't look at it in a way that is based on how many months. That way you neither feel obligated, or neglected. You should engage in sexual intercourse when both you and your partner are ready for it. That could be within one week, or one year. It all depends on how you feel. Not all think the same way. As for myself, I believe that sex is a symbol of two people coming together to express the mutual love between them in a physical way when words are no longer enough. But others, and most, don't believe that. So all in all, it depends on how you feel toward each other.... Hoe strongly it comes and how quick. If you just pay attention, you'll know when it's right.
