Rich, I guess I like both. Sometimes starting and stopping -- if I'm particularly close to having an O, can get frustrating. There have been times when I've lost the momentum all together -- but who's to say that wouldn't have happened anyway. There have also been other times when it has produced a much bigger O than I might have had.

That being said, the starting and stopping is particularly good to keep DH going -- I don't mind having multiple O's ;o)

"I voted 5 to 10 because my partener usually cant last longer then that. And even if he does, I can never reach orgasime. Is that normal?"

I'm not sure what you're asking about as far as normal? How long he can last or whether you have an orgasm. The easy answer is "there is no such thing as normal". Whatever works for each couple is what is "normal" for them.

So, if you're asking about how long he lasts, guys tend to be able to last a little longer the older they get. (I'm not sure of your age.) Any guy can learn to last a little longer with practice. Here's a great technique for that:

Now, if you're asking about normal as far as your orgasm, the answer gets a little more complicated. Statistically, most women are not able to reach orgasm from intercourse alone. Your orgasm depends on your own mind set and how your body responds, and for many, it's more of a learned experience. For many couples, the lady is satisfied prior to intercourse.

That being said, are you able to have orgasms during masturbation? Are you having orgasms during oral sex or foreplay? Can you have an orgasm during intercourse with the aid of clitoral stimulation? Let us know if/when you are having orgasms, and we'll try to take it from there.

In regards to the orgasm issue I can't orgasm with my SO. We've only been having ic for 5 weeks and he's amazing and can last what seems like forever!

Time will probably be your best friend there. If the two of you worry about it, it will also be counter-productive.

Are there fantasies you can call up or play music or something so that you just sort of escape and don't think as much during your playtime? Also, have you thought about using a vibrator together?

Do you think it would help if he read some articles -- to make him realize it's not about him? You can refer him to the website here or www.the-clitoris.com. iVillage has a lot of great articles that you can search for (just put the word orgasm in the search bar). Here are a couple to get your started:
