And not in a sexual way. Yet! ;)
My oldest dd had a vb game tonight and I knew it would probably be late when I got home, then I'd have to cook supper, etc...
I called h and asked if he was going to fix supper and he gave a sarcastic 'yes' and I thought to myself 'Oh Great! One of THOSE nights again!'
When I finally got home around 6:30 I found an awesome saute he made with peppers, onions, tomatoes and minute steak, hash browns and wild rice cooking on the stove. He even set the table!
My sister called before I got home and he told her what he was making (her h would NEVER do anything like that for her!) and she told him how lucky I was. He told her that he was hoping he'd get lucky for what he did. NO BRAINER THERE!
I can help but think of the rest of the mom's who either had to cook supper when they got home or waste money going out to eat. He may have been a real horses a** last night but he sure made up for it tonight!
To repay the favor, I'm going to go get a little housework done so the house looks a little nicer for him. (And because if I don't do it now, I might not get the chance later!)
Anyone else lucky enough to get their sweeties to something as awesome for them? (btw he did the same thing for me when we were first married because I was extremely late getting off work because of some late deliveries and when I finally walked in the door he was pulling the tater tot casserole out of the oven.) *sigh*

SM,
It is so wonderful to be reminded that the little things we do for each other make all the difference in the world.
Would you give him lessons on how to be a 'good' husband then?
You've got that right! :)
I am beginning to feel not nearly as lucky as the rest of you!
I wouldn't look at it this way at all. We all have little personal things our SO's do that others might envy. I read about lots of things I wish my DH would do.
Haven't you ever heard my little problem with alone, awake and undressed?
LOL!

;o)
Oh sure...rub that one in.
Let's start a list why don't we?
(is my touchy bone showing?)
LOLOLOLOL

That definitely sounds like a problem!
That won't work with him Steve. He's a third generation abuser. The only one that matters in his world is him.
