And were getting together tomorrow night. I'm intrigued but nervous; anyone else try this route?

When I was single, it was at the early stages of personal ads in local magazines. I did have a couple of dates that I set up as a member there. Each was very different as to where we met and what we did. I think I had 3 dates with different guys. The last guy was the most promising, but then hubby came out of the woodwork, and swept me off my feet! Just remember to stay safe, let someone (a friend/relative) know where you're headed, and try to enjoy yourself.

Well, back then, the adult personal ads were for "dating". I realize in today's time, there are also Adult personal ads for nothing more than sex. I'm not sure which one you're referring to, but either way, keep your wits about you and stay safe.

Oh yeah, and let us know how things go ;-)

Do you understand what an "adult" personal ad is?

There's a technique known as a *silent alarm* that BDSM players use sometimes when playing with someone new for the first time (when you're naked, tied up and alone with someone is a really bad time to discover that they're a psycho) that you might want to consider using here. Basically you tell a trusted friend where you're going to be and who you're going to be with, and tell them to call the police if you haven't called them by a certain time to check in, and spoken a code phrase you've agreed on that means everything's okay and that you're safe. Then when you meet up with your couple for the first time, you tell them about the arrangements that you've made (but not what your code phrase is).

Thanks for the update, denvergal. I'm glad things went well. Did they mention when they would like to try to get together?
